Before the thread gets derailed any further.

I went out for Dinner today with my family at a family restaurant called Brewster's.

I was talking to my friend who works there while he was on his break, outside.

Next thing we know some guys drive past and shout "FURFAG!"

My friend was dressed as the Brewster Bear... He does that for Birthday parties at the Restaurant. We were both in hysterics.

I don't understand their problem... I think red hair is absolutely gorgeous, I'd love to have it.
I'm trying to find some red hair dye, then I'm going to get a friend to help me, so if it goes wrong, I can blame them >:]

Yeah, Ive had them before. Even though Im listening to my music I can still hear them though. I still dont react, because thats exactly what they dont want you to do: ignore them. I can see it now, they shout something to try and look cool to their friends and look tough to everyone else. However, everyone with half a brain knows they look like twats, and to make matters worse, the person didnt even react. What would they say to eachother afterwards? "Yeah, did you see that fuckin geek we just passed, he totally dint fuckin react when I called him, yeah...."

May aswell just wear a t-shirt say "Im an embarrassed ****".

If they ever threw anything at me though, that definitely would however make me chase them to the next stop in traffic and put something through their car door window.

Thankfully, like all chavs and yobs however, they act the way they do to compensate for their all round lack of balls, and will never act unless in sufficiently large numbers. Like 10 against 1. So unless its a mini-bus, you can guarantee shouting like a chickenshit is all youll get from them.

Someone threw a snowball at me from in a car once. I was just wondering why the fuck you'd drive around with a snowball.

I've had it happen once when I was biking home from school. A hundred meters later, both of the idiots were pulled over by cops for speeding in a school zone and then the bag of weed was discovered... I almost felt sorry for them... almost.
hope it wasn't my friends lol
I don't see the problem to be honest it is just some people having a laugh, only time it happenned to me was when in art me and this girl managed to cover each other in paint so when I was walking home some people shouted something... probably something about the paint :p

Well now I'm sad :(
D: Why be sad? I'll buy you a HD tele to make it up to you.
Thanks but *sobs* I've already got one.
Well you can stop the crying then D: I'm stuck with a tiny pink thing with glittery stickers on I've had since I was about 8.

Yeah, its a big thing for people to do in Canada, it's really annoying. Usually food will come flying out of the windows shortly after. It makes the occupants of the vehicle feel tough/hilarious because they're flying by in a machine and all they can do is imagine the reaction of the pedestrian as being the funniest one imaginable.

Once a six-year old leaned out the window and howled "TITTIES" at the top of his voice. I was left mildly confused.

This has never happened to me, but I think I would end up laughing for hours afterwords at how well their life is going that the most fun thing they can thing to do is drive by really fast and yell inaudible insults.

This wasnt a drive-by insult, but close enough.

I was walking home from school when a girl from school shouted "GEEEEK"!

So I replied, thank you, at least I don't lack originality!

She looked at me really confused and said. "Dumb shit"

No, no, you look like any other ***** from school, its hard to tell the difference.

I do not know if this is a cultural thing, but here in the UK its fairly popular. Basically a chav/boy racer will drive past someone and shout an insult at them as they drive past. Most of the time it doesn't even work because the person being shouted at is listening to their ipod/the driver is going to fast so you only catch a few syllables of what they are shouting. Its not even decent insults, when I get it they shout "Get a haircut", which is just silly since my hair doesn't hurt them at all.

Its victimless sure, but I find the activity very immature, if there's one thing I expect drivers to be its mature! Watch the road, not the path looking for Otaku's/goths/girls! Is this a UK only thing? What has been shouted at you, if anything?
wow, they did a joke about that on family guy, about how in the U.S. there are drive-by shootings, but in the U.K. there are drive-by arguments.

And nothing has been shouted at me, but I have shouted at people while a friend drove, its actually pretty fun if you have nothing else to do.

Ooh. Burn.

I never knew why people go for the silly route and insult people for who they are. We are geeks and proud! The world lacks original insults. Pity every generation just seems to get dumber than the one after it.
