Lol, sometimes it's not the fact that they now talk, it's how poorly talk and what they say that makes you hate them now.

True. I'm afraid of this for when Dead Space 2 comes out since Issac grew a voice box in the 3 years after 1 took place.

OT: When talking to my sister (who really has 0 interest in games) about Mass Effect "oh I hate that game, all they do is talk". She has never PLAYED the game and has only watched the few seconds it takes to pop her head into my bedroom door say "hi" notice what I'm playing and then leave. 10 seconds max? You HATE a game based on watching it for ten seconds? She could work for Fox News. "I hate Red Dead Redemption because you can't swim". So? Who gives a shit if you can't swim?! It takes place in 1911 a lot of people couldn't swim then! Not forgetting swimming in games tends to suck anyway! Rockstar did us a favor!!!!

I recall one person telling me that he refused to play any games made by Bioware because he hates Canada. Yep, he refused to play KOTOR, Mass Effect, and Dragon Age, all because he hates anything that comes out of Canada.

Show him some of LRR's stuff. If that doesn't cure him of his unreasoning hatred of Canada, he is beyond help.

The Ubisoft shit and GFWL I can understand, but a lot of the rest is just stupid. Im not really sure what you mean. Does the game not have guns and youre pissed of they think it should? Or is it that you cant shoot yet because opening cutscenes, dialogue etc.

This kind of thing does happen to me sometimes. I like watching an opening cutscene, but id like to get into the action after that. It annoys me when I start a game and all people do for the first half hour is talk to me, especially on my second playthrough. (The first Fable did this kind of thing)

I will admit, I have gotten extremely pissed off at a game once for needing Steam, but mostly because it didn't mention anything regarding online activation or Steam on the back, and my gaming computer/laptop was unable to connect to the internet at the time.
