Date- Forget it.

So far so good. We have farms set up and dogs guarding the entrance.

Stills are ready as well, and we have plenty of space dug out.

End report.

Date- I'm making them up from now on. 2nd of Saddlefish.

Bedrooms are almost finished, no more dirt naps.

In other news, we have begun mining efforts.

Workshop level is under construction too.

End report.

Date- 5th of Nuberfig

Summer, work has been undergone on my tomb.

I am also trying to set up a basic barracks, as I know we will need to fight if those goblins start to act up.

A trade depot was built next to the entrance as well.

End report.

Date- 14th of Carelephboat

It is autumn. My tomb is complete and a caravan has arrived.

End report.

Date- 15th of Carelephboat

I traded for some meat to boost our food supplies, and asked the liason to bring meat and weapons next time. They asked for instruments, so I ordered for some to be made and stored for next year.

End report.

Date- 3rd of Pizomnar

The dogs chased off a thief, no idea where he went though.

End report.

Date- 20th of Pizomnar

Found the thief!

End report.

Date- 6th of Flyspaghmo

Curses, migrants!

Not many useful ones either, I suppose I could draft them into my military...

End report.

Date- 12th of Flyspaghmo

A new storeroom is finished.

DO NOT REMOVE THOSE WALLS, IF YOU DO THE FORTRESS WILL FLOOD.

Rooms for the migrants are under construction.

End report.

Date- 5th of Narfliyan

New bedrooms are completed, just in time for winter.

End report.

8th of Narfliyan

Some of the migrants fell in a river and got eaten by a sturgeon. Good riddance, dirtbags.

End report.

Date- 20th of Narfliyan

The barracks are finished, and it seems food and drink supplies are getting low.

My term is coming to its end.

End report.

Date- 1st of Newscaver

It has been fun, and I feel I have rules this fortress adequetly, but I must resign from my post. A new ruler arrives soon, and I shall step down and take my place as a mason and stoneworker.

To my succesor, I recommend focusing on our food supply, and our military if you can get some weapons.

End report.

There we go.

Does anyone know how I get the save file?

Excellent work. To get the save data, open up your Dwarf Fortress folder, go to data, go to save, then just zip the appropriate save folder (region1, or whatever your save is named.)

Edit: by the way, the date is in the top right of the 'status' window (z key).

You're in.

Also, Ravensshade passed, so the turn now goes to Omnidum.

Have patience. You can make your own DwarfFortress while waiting. To get some more skills. ;)

*Er-hem!*
1st of Granite, 202:
So, some wise guy came to me and said I was going to take care of a fortress, then he ran off to the booze stockpile. Didn't have time to catch his name, though.

So I notice the idiot didn't even tell anyone to deconstruct our wagon. The lumber is vital to our survival here in the start, so I go and do the ordering.

Also, I ordered some small hovels to be dug out, because sheesh, we need the space.

2nd of Granite, 202:
Grr, I can't reach my stuff!

9th of Granite, 202:
Why in the name of Armok isn't there any booze here?! The river's infested with dangerous wildlife!

14th of Granite, 202:
Nothing much has happened, except from a fish dissector has been killed by a pike because he wanted to take a drink from the river. Hasn't anyone heard of wells?!

And that's all for today, not allowed to be on it anymore.
