I've ordered some kitchens to be made. That way we can get our barrels cleared and hopefully booze to be made afterwards.

There seems to be migrants on the horizon. I, as of yet can only see one.

Yikes. Reading this log entry has been like watching that SciFi movie Frankenfish. Isn't there a way to, I dunno, build a bridge so they don't keep getting taken down by the killer carp?

You could do a small digging project. Mason a Grate, digg a tunnel from the river (let 1 mud space between the river and the tunnel) to the fortress (i would not recommend to let it open, because things that fall inside poison the water and convices dwarves not to drink that water). Add then the grate to the tunnel (hopefully the dwarf wont be stupidity stricken and stand on the wrong side while placing it) and then channel the last square out.
-> You got carp-free-freshwater :)

Hmm, my computer went out like a candle, so I'm reverted back to 1st of Hematite. OH WELL.

Edit: I did the well project with grate n' such.

Tutorial tip #1: You can 'd'esignate mass-dumping for example by pressing "d->b->d" That way, you don't have to gor through a long list to dump.

Remember the boy who went melancholy? Well, he was my son, and he died today. I'm going to go drink my brains out to forget it. Oh wait, I'm already doing that.

My Elven trap is almost complete. They will be attracted to the microcline and then SLAM! They are trapped in the depot again!
Of course, it can be used on other species as well.

If the fort is not in a to bad condition, I shall(or at least try to) construct 2 temples. One to the mighty Armok and one to the great and gruesome Fish Gods! Hallowed are the Fish Gods! Prepare the Dwarven sacrefices! (or maybe just some tamed & caged animals that will be dumped in the river ^^)
