Wherever there are people suffering, there will be dicks making fun of it.
See the Phelps family.

It started over a birthday party invitation (or lack thereof)?

What a fucking retard. Taunting a dying girl over something so stupid.

Why have non of the parents physically assaulted those assholes? If someone was posting pictures of a terminally ill child in the arms of the grim reaper as a joke I know several parents who would be around with bats in a matter of minutes.

View them as more of a privilage.

If a person has proven that their use of their freedom is harmful to others then the police needn't worry about upholden rights, they can act upon such horrible things.
You've completely missed the point of human rights then, much like the US and probably UK goverment in regards to torture.

The woman has shown that she is a horrible person whom goes out of her way to spread misery to her fellow humans over such a stupid thing just out of spite.
That is enough reason in my opinion to allow the police to step in and silence the woman.

Such practices should not be allowed within a nation.
Ma'am, I respectfully disagree with your statement. It is not just to criminalize speech, no matter how tasteless it happens to be. This woman has ever right to be a total ***** and I, for one, am glad that she has this right.
I... am at an utter loss for words.

You approve of this?! Seriously?!

Mr. Baseball bat should do some negotiating.

Would be worth the following charges. A good lawyer good make it into mitigtaing circumstances.

People have the right to say anything - but this is crossing the line. At least where I lived.

Oh lord... I don't think I've ever seen anything as low as this even on the internet, this is really quite disturbing and the fact that such things are even allowed in America is appalling in itself, all I can really think of right now is what a terrible childhood this woman must have endured if she thinks that this is even remotely socially acceptable.

I do hope that little girl doesn't understand what's going on, it would be too cruel for her to know that these horrid things are directed at her.

Not indicative of the individual, but of our species, or have your forgotten how fast people are to wish hot death upon the heads of others for not being a fan of the same system/game/movie/etc.

So much hypocrisy, c'est la vie.

As much as we don't like it, there allowed to do it.
Quite possibly and we are allowed to call them out on their insensitive behavior and ostracize them for it.
Does this kind of behavior shock me and surprise me? Hell yes it does.

Did anyone else read why she's upset? Because the answer to a text didn't come quick enough for her, so she responds by insulting and terrorizing a dying little girl.

Free speech is one thing, we stand beside it as gamers as our right to say what we will. But seriously, there's a limit to what's okay and what's not okay. The coffin is understandable, but to go around harrassing people with it is the same as when the KKK burned crosses on lawns.

And using images like that without permission could also get them in trouble, for what? A text that wasn't responded to quick enough? That's retarded, and if they're kid was dying and someone taunted them, they'd be up in arms about it and freak out!

I know that in America we have the 1st amendment and free speech, and I like knowing that. Those freedoms, however, need to seriously NOT be abused by white trash like that...

So let me get this straight...

The family are harassing a seven-year old girl with a terminal illness because they answered an invite for a childrens party a little bit late?

Come my friends, we must alert the internet immediately.

Perfectly within her rights to do it

It's a petty reason but they are perfectly entitled to say whatever they like

That's one of the problems introduced with freedom of speech and there needs to be no limit, otherwise it's not freedom of speech

However the KKK style is not freedom of speech, that's vandalism and probably some hate crimes involved too. What they say can't be prosecuted but what they do, that's much easier...

Also it doesn't stop the public from retaliating against them

What a wretched shallow whore.
I'd be surprised if their house is still standing by the end of the week after that newscast.
I bet an arsonist would love to feel justified in burning something down for once.
