I am sick of spoiled brats whining about how everything should have been in the game on its initial launch. I am quite happy for them to keep pumping out more DLC. They have released the toolset so fans can make their own missions, pump out more missions of their own and have already released 2 patches soo far trying to fix their mistakes and yet your people still fucking whine.
They are working on the issue. Shut up and enjoy it, or don't. Go play some generic rehashed FPS for all I care. I have not come across any of these broken bits so it is not my problem.
i dont have this game but i think your wrong

its perfectly acceptable to whine when the company makes a game that has major issues and instead of fixing them makes downloadable content instead

I like how CD Projekt focused more on fixing The Witcher first than adding extras. Heck they just gave people both with a rather massive update that not only fixed boatloads of bugs and made the loading reasonable they fixed the script too. Oh and the last update removed the need to have the DVD in the drive to play....Pure win.

As for Dragon Age I rented the PS3 version and I have noticed instances where the audio will get really really low, or the dialogue takes an unusual amount of time to move along. It's not that often but often enough for me to know that there is a problem.

Maybe I'm lucky, but I don't have any problems with the PC release of the game. It's great fun.

I completely agree. I have not come across these problems on the 360 and think this game looks great. Sure it has some problems, but I like it enough to overlook them and play the game. I can't wait for the DLC it will just make the game even better, and if they fix or are fixing the problems it has, so be it. A game will NEVER be perfect when it is first launched.
Really? Until consoles went online they nearly ALWAYS were.
Since consoles went online game makers have cut out QC staff and are focusing almost all their energy into making more to sell before fixing issues. I have a computer that runs everything under the sun just fine, including Crysis at max pretties, but this game crashes more than a drunk blind man on ice.

Plus, the game is already extraordinarily long.
RPG's in the 90's were typically longer than this, and they ran without all the bugs.

They are working on it, but it's a Bioware game. I'm a big Bioware fan(boy) but even I'll admit they are slow to fix bugs, however the bugs are never game braking so no major harm.
You do sound a little whiney, maybe wait a bit longer? If they release new DLC without fixing the bugs then you can say "I told you so", but if they fix things you're just complaining. To be clear you've got a point, but you're coming off as being overly worked up about it. (note: If you are not angry over this then it is as much our fault as your for the misunderstanding)

They do not owe you a damn thing.
No, they own me what I paid for. I paid for a working game that they said was finished; if it isn't finished they owe it to me to fix the problems.
As I've said before "They're a business!11!" isn't an excuse, would we allow a car dealer to sell a car with known faults? No, we expect those faults to be removed and to get what we pay for. What they don't need to do is forsake everything else to fix minor broblems, they still need to fix them but it's not something that should be a prime consern, such as a dodgy ashtray or minor cliping issues.

WWAAAAHHH I'm whining about people complaining about a game not working properly..WWWAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHH

You should quit while your ahead.
Quoted for turth. No one was whining about the DLC not being free you ****ing moron, it's a slap in the fact and it promotes pricay when they release tons of low content pay to play DLC but that's not the issue. The issue is that the game's broken and needs to be fixed more than it needs more DLC.
If you want to pirate the game, go ahead and do it. I didn't get any problem with my enjoyment of DA:O. Maybe your expectations are too high? BioWare actually made a game for PC first, and when they want to make some more money which they fucking deserve, you are going to ***** about what? Memory leaks? Yeah, there were some zone where the game started to act weird, so what? Was that the same level as a certain MurMurPurger with bouncing tits that took like long enough to get its poo together when everyone left? NO.

"Everything in DLCs should have been available at launch." I don't know what to make of this. Screw game developers who want to take their time to deliver more stuff for us to enjoy. You know what? You don't want the DLC, you want patches, and fixes? Good, just wait for BioWare to patch the game. Maybe during that time you will get to use the toolset and create some stuff I can play for free after you share it with the community. Mmkay?

You didn't play Neverwinter Nights 2 on release day did you? People had to download no-cd hacks just to get it to start up. Bioware is slow to admit to or fix issues with their games and quick to release DLC and expansions. This is par for the course with them, but once the games they release are working properly (usually 3-6 months after release) the games are awesome.

If the game is soooo broken and soooo unstable, why exactly is everyone threatening to pirate it? Do you really want to go through the trouble of torrenting it, and cracking it, and sitting through a download that will take days just to pirate a buggy, broken, unplayable game that's not worth the money?

Or maybe you're just angry and you feel like this is your only way to "stick it to the man"?

Bioware will have 2 teams - one to create new content and one to fix problems with existing content. Having all of those people just on the bug fixing section wouldn't be a good idea because that would probably cause more communication problems which would lead to more bugs being introduced. Besides, most of the people creating new content would be designers and artists whereas bug fixing needs programmers.

The original post specifically complained that it should have been part of the initial launch, which is essentially the same thing You should know. You said it. Between that and the complaints they are promoting piracy, it's kind of hard to take this as much more than an entitlement argument. Maybe leave the out the additional issues instead of calling someone "****ing morons" when they address what you said. Or at least demonstrate some transparency.

A. Bioware's trying to give you best of both worlds.
B. Shows you how damned annoying it is, doesn't it?

It is a bit of a slap in the face, given people have been claiming the PC aspect of it was finished some months before it was released, and part of the team worked on DLC while it was ported to consoles. It's fine to release DLCs, but maybe some playtesting and fixing particularly gamebreaking glitches before release is a fair enough expectation from the gamers, especially if they have the leftover manpower to be releasing 0-hour DLC.
Well in their defense the scope of this game makes finding every single bug in the game nearly impossible, it hasn't been out long, I'd cut em some slack

It irritates me that it has become the norm for games to be released buggy and patched post release, however I do appreciate the scope of this title. Still, if they had as long as I've been lead to beleive between the PC release being in it's release build, and they had enough manpower to have two zero hour DLC packs completed I don't understand why there wasn't more playtesting (or why they felt the need to release the DLC so soon after release, they had nothing to lose by waiting a few months, as nobody is running out of content in any real rush and they could have dodged much of the criticism from the community). They are never going to get all of the glitches, but surely they could've had more done. But yeah, they were never going to iron out all bugs completely, the game is far too large and I appreciate that

That's what makes the DLC thing so annoying in light of the scope of the game. Most people probably have not got through the main quest and not two weeks after release we get another DLC quest. It would look much better if they simply held back the DLC they had pretty much finished by launch and did not release anything save patches for a bit. If someone sees eleventybillion DLC packs yet the game is constantly crashing or leaking ram like a sieve they are going to ask "How the hell am I supposed to play all these side quests when the main game doesn't even work?"

I have to say it but when you buy a computer game you have to expect glitches because computer games are generally far more glitchy then the console version. Also the team fixing the glitches would only be for the PC while the new DLC would be a team working on it for all platforms.
