It actually would've been funny if Ea did create fake accounts to shower themselves with praise,it would'nt be the first time they or any other publisher/developer did it to make themselves look good.

Well, yeah, it's a pretty common practice. Pays pretty well too, considering the amount of work involved to review a product you've never tried.

Yeah, no. Please do at least the minimal amout of research before you try to smear shit about someone - even if it is EA. This is not the first thread in the last few days where the supposed bad thing turned out to be bullshit.

And please have at least the decency to add the small fact that it was a fanpage that is not related to EA in your OP.

That's the really funny part; it's not like it takes a lot of digging to find legit things to be upset at EA about. Even I'll admit that, and I haven't had a single problem with SimCity.

In all fairness - and I say this as a staunch anti-EA campaigner who refused to buy SimCity - this isn't actually as stupid as it looks. If you follow through to SimCity UK, you'll see it has nothing to do with EA.

It's just a page for UK fans of SimCity, posting its opinion on the game. Nothing to see here, as much as I would adore the opposite.

Don't worry, though, there's plenty of other stuff to laugh at about the terrible SimCity failures.

EDIT : To clarify, the screenshot is legit, and you can find that post, it's just not an EA fake post. Probably should edit the OP.

Just goes to show that people will jump on anything they can to discredit something they dislike.

I'm not a massive fan of EA either, I just hate seeing people jump on the hate bandwagon just because it's the cool thing to do.

To be honest, I genuinely don't know if it's worth buying Sim City. I like the thought of playing it, but whiners here have put me off it a bit, and I bet most of them haven't played it.

Maybe you should do your own minimal research. Check my posting history. I'm not in the habit of 'smearing shit', therefore your assumptions of my motives are precisely that.

Since a few people have mentioned it, I'll see about editing the title so newcomers don't think this is anything more than a 'hah, checkit' post.

I'm glad. EA deserves the contempt of gamers everywhere. I'm glade it has to make fake fan acounts and that it is so bad at it. This just exposes EA for what they are: people who see the consumer as a dumb walet they can pick at as they so please.

I feel this thread has really exposed people who will go to any length to bash EA without actually checking any facts. If you read the rest of the thread you could have saved the hate for a better reason.
