Well, I personally really like EA. They, by far, release the better games, their CEO isn't a total butt-munch, and lots of other good stuff. Activision, on the other hand, obviously sees games as nothing more than a business, because they only really support super-successful series of games while letting others go by the wayside.
Now, I know the people at EA aren't saints, but I believe they do far more good for the industry than bad, and I think they won't always be the bad guys.
I mean, a large portion of my favorite games are released by EA. Command and Conquer, Dead Space, Def Jam, Dragon Age, Mass Effect, The Saboteur, and Brutal Legend, plus others I'm sure.
Activision, on the other hand... >> They have ONE ongoing series that I actually think is above average, and that's Starcraft, but I won't get it because I boycott them.
Ubisoft is guilty of a lot of the same types of things EA is, I think. (I have a lot of good Ubi games too.) They are good to us console users, but the PC crowd gets shafted by them. Luckily, PC users have Steam, so nothing to worry about! xP
