Ea because now activision is doing an impersonation of he "evil" EA from 10 years ago.
They're not so bad now but still won't apologize for the past (cancelling Thrill Kill because they felt it was a "sadistic killing game")

EA; they have some really good development companies like Visceral and Bioware and are trying to be less evil than in the past.

Activision; while they have Blizzard and the juggernaut that is WOW they also have a buffoon known as Bobby Kotick as their CEO, a nasty habit of eating game companies and extracting IP's before firing most of the workers. And have started to go the Madden way of producing games (reproducing an IP every year with minimal changes)

In terms of who I would choose it's going to have to be EA. They are less of a dick than Activision (then again you will be hard pressed to find a company that is a bigger dick than Activision)

Well, I personally really like EA. They, by far, release the better games, their CEO isn't a total butt-munch, and lots of other good stuff. Activision, on the other hand, obviously sees games as nothing more than a business, because they only really support super-successful series of games while letting others go by the wayside.

Now, I know the people at EA aren't saints, but I believe they do far more good for the industry than bad, and I think they won't always be the bad guys.

I mean, a large portion of my favorite games are released by EA. Command and Conquer, Dead Space, Def Jam, Dragon Age, Mass Effect, The Saboteur, and Brutal Legend, plus others I'm sure.

Activision, on the other hand... >> They have ONE ongoing series that I actually think is above average, and that's Starcraft, but I won't get it because I boycott them.

Ubisoft is guilty of a lot of the same types of things EA is, I think. (I have a lot of good Ubi games too.) They are good to us console users, but the PC crowd gets shafted by them. Luckily, PC users have Steam, so nothing to worry about! xP

Activision has a habit of running games into the ground with sequels, or buying out other companies and cancelling their projects (like Brutal Legend). EA has actually done some good things recently, like the free maps for bad company 2 and taking chances on more "different" games like mirrors edge and the aforementioned Brutal Legend.

So EA.

i support EA because 1 most of their DLC is not as expensive as activison's and 2 ea gives you free in game stuff if you're in the gun club. ( *my argument* do you see activison giving you free in game stuff? Didn't think so.)

I guess EA, but why can't I choose army of Shoggoths? They would be generally faithful and powerful allies, and probably nicer than EA or Activision.

EA for the sole reason that Bioware is part of the company.

Why Bioware....why......

I'll agree with the majority that have posted so far, EA for me as well. Mass Effect and Bad Company, sign me up.
Well said, EA for me. Can't beat a line up like that.

Wow, flame war much?

Anyway, I don't like either of them much. The developers owned by them, I like lots, but personally, both just seem to be too dickish for me. I blame EA for the numerous faults in Dragon Age, despite the fact that they were Bioware's fault, and I blame Bobby Kotick for poverty in the third world.

If I had to pick one, it'd be....................................................
No, I can't decide. Kill me, or whatever, but I just don't like either of them enough to make a choice.

PS If this were down to developers it'd be: Blizzard, Bioware and Bethesda. One's Activision, one's EA and one's something else, so that's still no help in choosing which evil corporation to support.

EA FTW...Considering that they released Brutal Legend. (Though they canned the potential sequel)
