Wrong.CD-R said:I have Dragon Age Origins for PC it doesn't have DRmNutcase said:Wrong. Every last one of their titles ships with DRM. They seem to have cut back on precisely how invasive they make it, and come closer to industry average, but so far on casual and RPG titles only. We have not seen a single Crysis or Need for Speed or Madden or Battlefield free of online authentication yet. And have you paid attention to what their CEO said on the subject of DRM just last year?CD-R said:You do realize EA abandoned DRM in all thier upcoming games right. Dragon Age didn't have any and Mass Effect 2 isn't going to have any either.
And yeah, I don't much like the company or their games. Last one of theirs I truly liked came out in 1991. They also happened to buy out and immediately butcher a game series I was fond of.
The exception I specifically noted above. But, even a part of DA:O requires internet connection.nor does it require you to connect to the internet to play.
My bad, I was thinking about this from late 2008:Yes I did pay attention to what he said about DRM last year.
