That is not fucking okay. If some random chick came up to me at any age and wanted to mess around, I would strangle her to death.
Sir, I'm afraid I'll have to revoke your Man Certificate.
So if a really overweight, slutty, STD-covered, old woman who once was a man offered you sex, you would automatically say, 'Hell yeah!'?
It would depend on the STD.

I must say, the first time I had sex was quite liberating. Not because it felt so good or I was in love or any of that bullshit, but because I was able to say "THAT'S what they made such a fuss about?"

Sex is good. Knowing about sex is good. Not having sex is bad (very bad, like, species dies out and such). Not knowing about sex is bad.

People trying to push the idea that anything even related to sex being icky and too disgusting to teach kids about are just plain stupid. No matter how icky you may think it is, it is required to be done right in order for the species to improve at all.

Overall I'd have to agree that the knowledge would be usefull. Personally, I was completely sheltered from it and, as a result, was left completely unprepared. And being unprepared is... not exactly pleasant.

That is so god-awfully disgusting, but hilarious. Nice to have you.

It's nice to be appreciated. Although, in retrospect, not by overweight, slutty, STD-covered, old women.

I try to get those people as offended as possible. Last time one gave me problems I sent them this link:

Pisses them off every time.

Well I think the more you try to screen and conceal things that you consider unsuitable for younger children the more inquisitive they become about this. If you introduce it too them in a sensible way people are less likely to glorify sex and think it something unusual, rather than a natural and part of human life.
I feel that frequently the restriction on how you can express your view on sex, only makes people more inclined to talk about it. I think you should be able to express your views on it and make jokes about it without being penalised for speaking your mind.

Well, thanks for that, I guess. It's never a good day unless someone calls me stupid.

Here's the kicker, though: Did you ever stop and ask yourself "Do these people care if the species improves?"
Or, better yet, "Do they care if the species continues at all?"

'Cause the answer to both is no.
Not having sex isn't bad - it's just a different choice than what the majority picks.
Do I think kids should be taught about sex? Yes. I do. I took health class - it's completely inadequate.
So you go out, and you have lots of sex for me, alrighty?

But I don't call this type of women "chicks". I admit, I'm picky, but I don't think I would say no to a decently looking girl if she asked for it.
You too. You're in med school, right?
Your genes should work fine.

Go on! The both of you.
Scoot!
Did you know masturbation hurts SO much and sex feels like death?

People are way to easily offended. Sex is a natural thing, whereas killing someone is not. Yet, movies can show a few thousand heads explode and get PG-13, but one sex scene and it's R. Almost everyone will have sex in their lifetime, but few people will kill someone. One of the many paradoxes of society.

Apparently the people you are offending are in their late 30s because Rick Roll doesn't offend anyone anymore but internet newbies.

It'd be a pointless activity for children that age, like telling kids that they should raise themselves and their siblings so they 'get the hang of parenting'.
What do you think DOLLS are for, you silly moo?

The Action Men and Transformers dolls showed me a hell of a lot about parenting. Even now when highly stressed by the toils of having children I whap out my laser cannons, fire off a few rounds, turn into a jet and fly away leaving only pain and misery in my wake. I like to think of myself as a model parent.

This.

Especially considering right now the world is overpopulated as it is. We could do with more people abstaining from procreation and sex in general. Max is right, most people aren't having sex to improve the species. Most people aren't even having sex to procreate. They're doing it out of boredom, pleasure, or some other inadequate reason. I DO agree that sex ed should be more cohesive, though. They teach you nothing in those classes (or they didn't the last time I had to sit through one).

More on the original topic of the post, though. Sex jokes are not really mature. It's something you joke about in high school and then a bit in college, but try cracking one to adults in the workplace. Most of the time, you're gonna find yourself ostracized. There's a time and a place for everything. And there are some topics that should be reserved for private conversations. Sex, politics, and religion are the big three, since you never know who you're offending.

And on the subject of Brave New World...I've read the book. I understand what you're trying to say, but the point of the book is that the society is still BAD. The things they're doing to these kids are BAD. Kind of went over your head there, didn't it?
