Meh, doesnt really bother me since I always buy my games new, but only thing that bothers me is that I can no longer borrow my friends games for a week. Oh well, but on the other hand it's fair enough, the developers get more money which means less (hopefully) DLC, or at least cheaper DLC. Win win for me in any case

EDIT: Best of all, this means less pre-order DLC, and less people whining about it. So I guess it's a win win win for me...

Sounds good to me. You want the multiplayer, you buy the game new or buy the pass.. and spend the same amount as you would if you had bought new (if not more, knowing how silly used game prices are at most stores). You don't care about the multiplayer, and any other assorted online only stuff, you buy either new or used. Simple as that.

My only question comes up in reference to PSN Plus. It would only seem fair that, since the PSN Plus sub fee already goes directly to SCEA, having an active PSN Plus subscription should automatically allow you access to multiplayer in your used SCEA games without buying a separate code. If not, than that is a little dubious.

heh..

your new game is 20 + 20 dollar online pass so you buy for 40
used is 10 + 20 dollar online pass so it's thirty dollar
that cookie cutter logic makes sense to me but i doubt it's that simple.

and besides i thought that sony and all the other gaming type companies still owned the rights to the game and we just leased them, so why can't they legally enforce gamestop and other places to sell used games at a certain price..

Actually, don't they already? cause i remember back in the day (snicker) that the resale value of a game was a quarter of its new value + costs of resale (storage/insurance and what not) so used games were still a buttload cheaper, yet since third gen (360/ps3) the price of used games is only mildly lower then the new game. What's with that?
