Belkin was suspicious to say the least. A disease that causes people to still appear youthful? Plausible, but why hadn't it been mentioned in the greater world. As for the sun aspect, yeah, she was actually IN the sun, but that hooded cloak she wears still keeps her in the shade. The whole thing stank, but...there was nothing there to really SAY Vampire!
