Has that one pic got a Daedra helm? Looks like it.

So psyched now. And as for the post above me, I'd like to see it so that you have to dress up somewhat warm or get hypothermia/other cold related problems.
Maybe they will take the Hardcore mode from New Vegas?
I hope they do something like that. They should merge Hunger/Thirst and then add body temp, which is an issue if it drops below 35 degrees, so the player has to be inside or dress warm/have some kind of spell/ race advantage to combat.

my only comment is that someone needs to update their scanner, those look like they've been sent here from the 90's, although I do appreciate the effort of whoever scanned them but they are quite grainy.

Did I see a dragon there? Hopefully we can tame them and use them as mounts!
Reading the articles a little, it seems the dragons will be the antagonists in some form or another. That should make for some interesting conflict, seeing as the Empire (if it still stands) reveres dragons.

Let's just hope they do away with the level based encounter system of Oblivion =/
The Empire doesn't revere dragons, they revere Akatosh, a god that takes the shape of a dragon whenever he shows up on Nirn (almost never).

They also have a bunch of other gods that are not shown as dragons, as that is Akatosh's* thing.

* How am I supposed to write that? "Akatoshes" doesn't sound right.

It would be Akatosh's
Akatosh being a name it's just "'s" on the end

Let me get this straight... You fight dragons but you are part one? Sounds like a Divinity II rip off. Way to reach a new low of plagiarism, Todd.
Divinity 2...which came out a year and 2 months ago. Skyrim, which has been in production for years, and Elder Scrolls lore which has been around for decades. Think before you post.
Ahem, not to mention the idea of X-Slayers (Replace X with foe) needing to have some kinship with their foe to get an edge has been around for years.... Grey Wardens? ... Hell even the Dragonslayers on Adventure Quest use abilities like Dragons Breath to fight their winged foes.

And you think divinity II was made in a second? It was released on November 20th, 2009. By that time bethesda just finished with Fallout 3 and were in pre-production for the elder scrolls.
Arena the first Elder Scrolls game was RELEASED April 1994. So ummm the Lore of TES is a little larger..

I never got into The Elder Scrolls. This may be my first foray, because that does look pretty sweet.

So much snow.... I hope they have a bit of variety in the environments.

Then again, it is Nord-country. But still... I hope it's not all white.
Its Skyrim, its like saying there is too much snow in Arctic. And no I dont think it will be all snow. Solstheim was half snow, half taiga.

How would you explain all the years of Elder Scrolls Lore? But no, of course Bethesda are a bunch of unoriginal, plagiarizing douchebags because you said so.
Simple, Todd Howard wasn't involved in that lore.
