... Encyclopaedia Dramatica is all satire.
It's all designed to mock the kind of people who really think like that. Like Sasha Baron Cohen and Borat.
Most of these "bigoted" articles are written by their subjects. There was a big fucking deal about the "Aboriginals" article a while back that shed light on this.
Of course, there is also just the shock value. The racism for the fuck of it rather than because of actual feelings of hatred.
Plus, they make fun of white dudes, too. Actually, they make fun of everyone and everything. As many people have already said.
It's kind of a fun read in the right state of mind, actually.

Yes, ED is satire and jokes - but there is a very simple motivation behind this. Every page on that site, even the Encyclopedia Dramatica page, insults its topic. This is all part of building an identity for the users - Anonymous. By hating everything they have no value and thus, no identity: making them anonymous in nature as well as their name(lessness).
Like them or hate them, they are actually a very interesting topic for study as the only (as far as I know) subculture that exists without any leaders or icons to guide them - a self-perpetuating collective consciousness.

Encyclopaedia Dramatica is satirical as you can probably tell in its name. it doesn't contain just stuff about Asians/Orientals but also whites, Jews, Mexicans etc. and i find it extremely annoying when people try to stab at ED but miss out stuff like that because we are so warped on 'political correctness' that white people are now seen as inferior. for example if a man of african orient says about me "look at that bird shit" no more would of been said, however if I retaliated saying something like "Piece of shit" i'm claimed as the racist and therefore I am apparently in the wrong. but keeping on topic. honestly, i dont think anyone gives a shit about the racist imagery on it since it was made by the people of the internet who can make/take a joke for those who also can make/take a joke without any problems. if you don't like anything it says then don't look at itzungerman090 said:

Encyclopedia Dramatica is not serious. It's a satire on the memes and customs of the internet, a kind of... Trolls Guide to the Internet, if you catch my drift.

Don't come near it unless you have reasons to hate something on the internet. Then you go there, search it up, find results and depending on what it is that you hated and searched for, you will either be happy with what you read or feel sad and forgive the person in question.
