ED is not meant to be taken seriously.
It's not racist per se in that it's racist to everything and everyone.
You think it's racist to black people? Look up the white people article.
Think it's racist to Asians? Look up the article on Europe.
It even personally hates you.
It hates males, females, short people, tall people, blacks, whites, rich people, poor people, middle class people, smart people, dumb people, politicians, gamers, book-readers, computer programmers, everybody.
It takes a while to get used to it, but once you realise the fact that it hates everything, the feelings of hate towards it for hating you fades.
Also, I bet soon this thread is going to turn into a "OH DUDE HAVE YOU SEEN THE OFFENDED PAGE!?!_1!-10!!!!one!!" thread and will be locked because of it.
Also, the whole "ED is SEXIST!1!" thing is completely invalid due to the fact that it is created and run by a woman.

I think you're taking the internet too seriously. It's a piss take made by trolls because they were bored and needed something funny to do. But no, racism isn't as common as the media make it out to be. Usually when it is in the media it's a hate crime like murder. I'd just not take the internet too seriously and realise that everything is always blown out of proportion.
Yeah, the website is a parody. It shows you how bad a person can be and then takes that 'bad-ness' and factors it by 10. It's hard not to laugh at some of the stuff due to the batshit crazy connections it makes between wildly different subject fields. Nobody could possibly think anything out of ED is useful or correct information, and therein lies teh fun.

Conservapedia scares me a million times more ... unlike ED I can't tell whether Conservapedia is a parody of hardline Christian America or whether or it's being told in honesty as concerning to the various writer's thoughts and feelings on the matter.

It's a satirical site meant to offend as many people as it can. Any racism or bigotry you see there is not to be taken seriously. In fact actual racism or bigotry is looked down upon. Although the articles about individuals can be surprisingly accurate since they back stuff up with videos, links, screenshots and the like.
