I gotta say I enjoyed the Main Quest ending for Oblivion. almost to the end then the shit hits the fan, pain in all directions and even more (indestructible) pain right in front of the objective mess around a bit then get to the whole epic end part.

because it's always fun when things get crazy, regardless of how much actual thought was in there

Mass Effect. It both offered a sense of closure while baiting a sequel at the same time.

This. I really love the ending. A nice sense of accomplishment but I was also left thinking "the sequel is gonna be awesome".

I loved the endings of Braveheart and Gladiator.
300, both the graphic novel and the movie had a good ending.
For some reason, I keep thinking Titan A.E., just for the "New Earth (AKA Planet Bob)" bit.
Can't forget Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Such an epic ending for the show.

The original ending to the book A Clockwork Orange. It was very different from the movie and I believe much more conclusive and even somewhat optimistic. In a film I'd go with One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest it was somehow both tragic and optimistic.

A short but epic battle, followed by (IMO) one of the most memorable cutscenes.

And then a awesome song during the credits.

The ending to Stephen King's IT (the book not the movie) was what really got me. The last couple paragraphs were so unbelievably perfect to complement the bittersweet ending.
