Endings that ruined games!

Honestly for me the after the end credits thing for me was interpreted completely differently.8-Bit_Jack said:
I thought the fayth had transported him to a new world for him to roam about but inevitably leave, and if X-2 came out, it would be about Tidus never being able to stay in one world too long. He would phase out of worlds just as he starts to save it (all of them would be in peril, just so it would be FF), he would leave. The final world would allow him to break the cycle, ending his existence. THAT was what i thought X-2 would be. not Yuna's angels going around breaking shit.
Cod4 ended brilliantly, how dare you. Prince of persia. JESUS CHRIST this game ending made me die inside.

Basically you spend the entire game restoring these light trees so you can restore the main light tree (or something like that) You fight like 30 bosses and 1 uber boss to make the big tree live again. However your partner has to die to make the tree alive again and you charcter is upset and like the worlds biggest idiot he will ruin the story to get her back. You then proceed to kill the big tree to bring her back to life making the story come back to where it started exactly.. i mean seriously this is EXACTLY the situation in which the story started. The darkness gets let out of the big tree and nothing is achieved. I almost destroyed the disk for such an ending.

Metal Gear Solid 4 - I managed to put up with all of MGS 4's incredibly overwritten story for the entire game, but when it got to the ending, I just had to finally go "okay, now that's just fucking retarded"

Condemned 2 - the whole game was a total letdown, ending was just the turd icing

You can't really call that part an ending. Plus, it was immersive, something unexpected (usually the heroic mute saves the girl then rides off into the distance, but hooray! the bomb actually goes off and destroys everything, including you, just like how it should).Deadarm said:
