Ana cocked her head to the side. "Oh and will we be getten' these back? I've seen many things with both my hand gun and my sniper rifle, each one saving my life countless times. Losing em' for good will not do we a world of good sir." Ana said her arms crossed tightly giving her commanding officers a challenging look.

"That's a fair point, sir." Mick replied, accepting the answer.
He would of course like to argue further, but he was in no mind to start hostilities with anyone on his side, let alone people he'd just met who were his superiors.

He waited until Ana had finished her question.
"I'd also like to know if we'll get them back, sir." He chipped in, a hint of nervousness in his voice. He wanted to express his want to keep his favorite weapon, but he didn't want to seem too pushy.

Chris had no guns. He turned them all in when he had left the gang life before, so this request was relatively easy to comply with. Receiving a new gun was going to be the challenge. Since it had been four years, he was unsure if he would be able to properly handle picking up a weapon again, after had sworn off them. Or even if he had been firing them right in the first place. God damn America, putting me in this position in the first place.

Nadia shrugged. "Oh well. This one's getting old, anyway." She took the weapon off of her shoulder and took it apart into its four pieces, and placed them at her side, waiting for the order. She also unclipped the quiver and put it in the small, organized pile.

she figured that Emerson had a point. A crossbow wouldn't do much in close quarters, anways. Good thing the bolts aren't the explosive ones, she thought.

Leaving last, Sander dragged his legs over the edge of his bed, his eyes barely kept open, his bedhead hair triumpantly swaying in the wind, even though he figured with hair as short as his, it could've stayed up without sleeping it into that position. He quickly dressed and taking slow, but long steps, looking around as if gallivanting.

He stepped outside, the morning sun shining him blind. He covered his eyes with his hands, and followed the last peer of his that he saw, down to where they were supposed to gather. His clothes seemed a tad bit sweaty, an after-effect of his sleeping with a respectable portion of his daily clothes.

Reaching the group, he stayed behind most of them.

"And when and what is our first duty? Sir."
He walked behind him and nudged Rufus with his elbow.
"Come on, Rufus. First duty? We only just," he said, letting out a short yawn. "Got here. And besides, I think we're about to have a civil war on our hands on the first day. These military-types can show the two officers there then," he said, pointing at the two officers, though not very directly, so that they wouldn't notice. "How good they are with their "special weapons".'

"Of course you'll get them back-- well, if you live you'll get them back."

A few of the troops gave Emerson worried looks.

"Well, not that you're going to die. I mean-- yeah, you might. This is war after all. You also might not though. Who knows? Think happy thoughts for now."

Nodding to Robin to signal him, Emerson and Robin began rounding up all the weapons that the troops were willing to give out. There was no doubt that some troops probably didn't want to give their weapons away, or had them stashed in their bunk, but it wouldn't be a big deal. There was no use in starting up a big argument over something as easy to conceal as they were hiding.

"There.", Emerson smirked, putting the last weapon in the soggy crate next to where he was standing, "Doesn't that feel better? Now you're as useless as the rest of them in a gunfight."

The two OIC's smirked to themselves, knowing that essentially everything Emerson had said was complete nonsense. There really was no need to take their weapons in, it was merely a test of character.

"Now, take a seat in what's left of that railway-cafe on my right. I'm sure Rob can sort you out with some food, as such a task would be beneath me.", he said, half-joking, "Except you, Gar, come with me to the train behind you. We need to have a little chat."

I just realised that we've barely described the layout of the train station, so here's a few need-to-know points.

1) The overhead stairs goes across to the second part of the train station, ten or so metres away from the first part. On the second part is the train in which the troops sleep and do as they like when they're not training.

2) There is no way to get to platform 4, but you can get to train 4 through train 3, on platform 3.

3)The enterance area to the station has the toilets on the right and the cafe on the left, and platform 1 infront of it. On platform 1 is the train in which Emerson and Robin sleep (cough, apart, cough) and keep a lot of junk.

"Food. Sure."

Robin disappeared into the cache, and emerged with two stained iron boxes in his arms. He dumped one of them on a remaining plastic table that had their full set of legs. The other one he set on the ground. After throwing off the lids, he held up several cans.

"Chow's pretty poor here, but it's edible."

He shook a can.

"At least, I hope so. Fruit and canned meat. Hope you like it."

He tossed a can to an approaching recruit.

"Also; very stale bread." he said, kicking the second box.

Gar's eyes went to Emerson and onto Robin, searching for any signs of "I'm sorry" or "Don't take it personally". Not catching onto anything by their looks he simply clicked his heels and waited for Emerson to escort him to the train.
"Sir, aye aye sir."

What now?

Nadia caought the can in her right hand and pulled the tab on the top. She threw the top of the can in the garbage, took a chunk of barely-recognizable fruit, and popped it in her mouth. Judging by the taste, it seemed to be a strawberry, or part of one. She shrugged. "Not awful," she said. She wiped some juice from her lips and sat down on a bench.

Mick was skeptical at first, but after Nadia surviving an initial bite, he followd her lead and caught the next can.
He sat next to her and started eating.
"Yeah, you're right. Not the best food I've had but still better than I expected."

"C'mon pot luck, be corned beef..." Rufus said, and reached into the can box, with his free fingers crossed for luck. He took out a can and shook it. It didn't make a sound, but still had weight. Score! Rufus thought, while grinning to himself, and grabbed some stale bread. "Mmmm... just like mama used to make, thanks sir!"
He took his little meal, and found a nice edge table to sit at in the café.

And I'm off for the night <3
Have fun, everyone, and enjoy your meals <3

Chris grabbed a can as he filtered into the cafe with everyone else. He opened it before he even sat down at a booth. Hmmmm, well it's looking better then some of the stuff me mum came up with that's for sure.

He took some bread at sat at one of the booths in the middle of the cafe. He hadn't eaten in a while so this was a welcome meal.

Ana sighed after giving up her guns but knew it was for the best. "Well looks like it's chow time." Ana said reaching into one of the boxes and pulled out a can. She shook it and still had no idea what it was then opened it seeing it was SPAM then grabbed another can opening that as well seeing it was blue pie filling. "Well better then nothing. Could be shit after all. I still miss mum's cooking though." she said taking some old bread and sat down next to Chris. "Some day hu?" she said taking a bite of the bread and chewing it some.

She was reluctant to really open up to anyone at this point and didn't see much point in changing. Being closed off saved her ass and got her home. She wasn't about to give that up for anything.

"Yeah, you're telling me," Chris agreed as he dug into...well it looked like it could be beef, but he couldn't really be sure. Whatever it was, he scooped it onto his bread and took a bite. "This has been...an interesting start."

"I heard about your little tumble with miss Garrett last night. Judging by that little shiner on your face, I'm guessing it's about right to assume you got a little knock to the face. Lord knows I don't care what you lot get up to, you may as well be throwing a group orgy in there for all I care, but I need to know if this is going to be a problem."

Emerson quickly pondered the prospect of a group orgy, before realising his train of thought and quickly turning back to Gar.

"Um, uh-- ahem. Will it be?"

Johann carefully sat down and slowly started to eat the meal; the meat tasted somewhat odd and it was difficult to tell what the fruit had originally been. He learn back on his chair as he did so and rubbed his stomach sarcastically.

"Just like the ol' wife makes it, eh?" he said to no-one in particular.

Gar had made his way into the train cart silently, following his superior without looking behind his shoulder.

After hearing what this off-scene chat was all about, he gave a small smirk. Gathering his face while Emerson seemed deep in thought, he saluted briskly, avoiding eye contact and keeping his chin up.
"Sir." He began as he lowered his hand again to his sides.
"No sir, it will not happen again. And if it will, there will be no problem, sir!"
He ended abruptly, clicking his heels together and standing firmly and looking sharp.

Digging around in a broken man's feelings will get you nowhere fast.
As memories began surfacing again, his tension eased a little bit, but he quickly sharpened.
You are in front of your superior damn it! Pull yourself together man!

Gar smoothly got into his former position, hoping his physical stature hadn't been brutally dis-assembled. While discipline was a sturdy tool, feelings and agonizing memories were like plastic explosives and detonator.

Collins breathed a sigh of relief, at least she knew they would all be issued weapons, it saved the trouble of her having to ask, she briefly thought about heading to that cafe by the enterance to the station, she had yet to so much as talk to the others in this group save for maybe a friendly hello and was indecisive about wether she should stay here and attempt to or not. She decided on the later, picking up a can with a worn out lable, masking the contents within, she guessed it could be a game of soughts, guessing the contents of these Mystery cans when it had gotten to the stage where all taste, smell and appearence of them were indistinguishable.

Walking into the cafe she pulled on of the dusty tables closer to the wall so she could learn back on the chair against the wall with her heavy boots up. She relaxed dipping her half eaten sandwich into the runny contents of the tin, it seemed like it used to be peaches.

Ana sat there and sat nothing ans she ate. The truth was she had worse days then this as she's had better. "But it's better then sleeping in mud for days, being wet from said mud and having noting in close to creature comforts." Ana said eating some of the pie filling with her fingers.

Ana started playing with her knife carving things into the table. "Hell times like these I feel like Brad Pitt playing Lieutenant Raine from Inglourious Basterds." she smirked.

"I like that movie. Very funny," Chris said, as he finished off the meat and went to the fruit? It looked like fruit. Nothing in this tin looked like it was supposed to.

"I can't say I have had anything like that. My parents did. My parents escaped from Nigeria to come here and try to build a new life. They told me stories about how the rebel groups would go around recruiting young men to try and fight against the government. About how my father managed to avoid it all as a man of learning. They wanted to raise their kids in a world without violence, and it worked, to a extent."
