In "Enslaved: Journey to The West" we have Trip put a controlling helmet on Monkey so that he helps her to come back to her place.
Although it is quite an assholish thing to do, she has quite an answer for why: survival. The desire to live beats most arguments.
But my question is: Would people be okay if it was a guy enslaving a girl for the same reasons?
Or would Fox News be bitching about it?
Also, in recent discussions about the reasons for the success of Twilight one of them was: "One common female fantasy is having a strong man being emotionally fragile and thus dependant of the woman". We see the creatures in Twilight doing that and Monkey is forced to use his strengt to protect Trip.
So does anyone think that this game plays a female fantasy?
Please use spoiler tags because I haven't played yet.
