It is pretty good. Very well made action scenes and some deep, if unoriginal, setting.

Oh I've been meaning to see it! I saw it in a list of the best gun fights and it looked pretty exciting. I must remember to hire it out...

It got over shadowed by The Matrix, but Equilibrium is fucking phenomenal and far more thought provoking.

I picked that movie up on a lark once and was pleasantly surprised. It had a lot of really good scenes in it.

Of course, Sean Bean got shafted with a guaranteed-to-die role, as he always does.

I loved this movie. If the movie was a girl I'd totally get rejected by her, no joke.

If Christian Bale wasn't nuts that movie would have probably sucked ass. There's only so much gravitas a sane person can carry.

Equilibrium is a great movie. Its one of my personal favorites, right up there with Highlander and Big Trouble in Little China. It seems most of my favorites didn't do well at the box office!

Equilibrium is one of those completely retarded, totally awful movies that are somehow completely watchable and enjoyable on the dumbest possible level in spite of it. Like Starship Troopers, except with heavy-handed, incredibly shallow, and utterly incomprehensible social commentary instead of satire.

I know what you mean. The average movie buff just doesn't seem to grant the great Lo Pan the respect he deserves. It's just sad, man.

I thought it would be a matrix rip off, it wasn't and it was very good.

Decent action scenes, some failed attempts to bring philosophy to the table and the acting was quite mediocre. A decent 'throw your brains to the beer-can' kinda movie for some friday night if you got nothing better to do (You ought to have. This movie ain't that good), but don't expect to ever watch that movie again or be somehow impressed by it.

It's not bad but basically it's just a bunch of better dystopian stories thrown together.
Namely Matrix, 1984, Brave New World, Fahrenheit 451 and any others that I might've missed.
I hate having to quote people like this because it makes me look less smart. That aside, spot on mate.

I really enjoyed this movie. Probably because I secretly hope for the world to fall into dystopia

This sums up my thoughts pretty well. It's a mediocre movie and it isn't really worth seeing.

I really enjoyed the movie. The plot seemed more than plausible. The acting was kind of stiff but the plot tells us why that is. The fighting wasn't the main part of the movie, witch you can not say about the Matrix 2&3.

I would be willing to spend any amount of money to learn gun-kata.
