Let Me In is great and better than the original. It's also hands down my favorite vampire movie of all time. I've heard mostly good things about the remake, and will probably see it over the weekend, but I want to hear Bob's take.
signed up on the forums to register my annoyance that as a homo, saying "Scarlett Johannson, Yeahhhh" is increasingly beginning to irritate.Traun said:I can understand this point of view...and somewhat support it. The Escapist has a female audience, and this audience isn't a small percent, having to listen to a twenty eight year old man drooling over half-naked actresses in suggestive posses isn't exactly the best experience for a woman.Pseudonym2 said:Bob. It's time to have an intervention. I don't know if you are a lecherous creep or just playing on TV but it's getting really annoying either way. It's literally interfering with your job. Your job is comment on Buried not get side tracked and start showing pictures of attractive actresses.
1 Attractive movie actresses are not rare.
2 If we wanted to see publicly released stills we would use Google.
3 Women watch this too, or at least would watch it if they weren't discouraged by the blatant fan service and objectification.
4 Using someone's copyrighted photos to boost your view count is pretty low.
I know this video isn't the worst example but it's the straw that broke the camel's back. Have some dignity. You're a 28 year old balding man. Publicly Drooling of pretty women makes you look pathetic. Please stick to your movie reviews and analysis not superficial judgments of women.

1. I think superheroes are better suited to TV than movies. Think about it: comic books come out typically once per month. Done right (which they often aren't, I admit), that sort of serialized story telling should translate way better to the weekly format of TV than to the movie format of one two-hour story released every two to four years. When Smallville's good, it's actually pretty fun. It's just that they tried to blend Superman with the teen angst of Dawson's Creek, so when it's bad it's excruciating. Which shouldn't be a problem with better show runners. Bringing me to...
2. If you're pessimistic about anything written by David E. Kelley, you need to watch Boston Legal. A few closing arguments by James Spader as Alan Shore and you'll forget Ally McBeal ever existed. I know I did.
Well he showed a shirtless Ryan Reynolds. You should all just take a breather. Does it honestly bother you that much?spaceman12 said:snipTraun said:snipPseudonym2 said:snip

Why is Bob doing a movie that came out weeks ago?
...Where do you live? It came out last week in Canada...
What, you mean thirty seconds into the first episode? So you liked the Intro then. Interesting.Onyx Oblivion said:Poor Wonder Woman.
And Smallville was alright...until it just went batshit.
Yeah Bob, Tommorow When the War began has a terrible case of being the first book in a series so it's really slow, fairly uninteresting and has the most dissappointing climax ever. The characters are vaguely interesting and they made some bad choices with certain minor characters. But it's enjoyable.MovieBob said:Buried
This week MovieBob goes underground and watches Buried.

Dark City is also a great Australian movie from when we once made decent films. Though that might of been made in New Zealand rather than Australia... but hey whats the differenceZeeky_Santos said:*cough* wolf creek *cough* and if that's not your cup of tea, Pitch Black was filmed in australia with a huge line up of minor aussie actors (including somin from Play School!) which would constitue as contributing to the Aussie Film Industry.Mr Smith said:SNIP
