As much as this movie sounds interesting, hearing the review I'm more than O.K to wait till I can rent it out on DVD.

Oh, and no Jason Statham in this? I love that guy? (MovieBob, when it comes out, you have to review The Expendables)

MovieBob: Watch movie AVALON from year 2001 and from director Oshii. Truth will be there...
Avalon was a bit boring but in the end it had quite the concept to think about when it comes to the theory that many "MMO" players are trapped in their little world and tend to ignore reality. (Like all those people who have given up their marriage to play WOW)

Teabagging stared in CS, not Halo... When is moviebob ever gonna fix his mic and screwy picture pixel mania?

For some reason I imagine Bob's got a bad breath. No Idea why...

So... Where does Death Race stand in your book?
(Hey, it was a slow week, and we'd seen the worthwhile movies at the blockbuster.)

He actually said Starship Troopers is a better halo! Virtual Hi-Five for Bob.
He obviously knows originality!

Advent children was pretty, but it was awful! Great fight scene, but it didn't make a damn bit of sense. Which would have been fine if it was better paced. By better paced I mean remove all of the dialog, because its all awful.

Fight scenes where fun though.

Great review though!

Will badass 4 food pretty much sums up Jason Statham's career, and there's nothing wrong with that. Gerard Butler is no Statham.
The thing is, Statham actually IS a pretty damn good actor - though he seems to either not know this or not care. As is, he's a walking example of just how fast one perfect role can turn a career in a new direction - when I first saw trailers for "Transporter" my first thought was "heh, that's nifty - putting a 'character actor' in the lead of a big hero-worship action vehicle." Two weeks after the movie comes out, suddenly he's the British Stallone.
I agree, I mean I recently watched Snatch and Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels and I was impressed buy the man that I only thought starred in movies such as Transporter and Crank. I don't know why he cant find a good character type movie instead of shitty action flicks becuase he really is a good actor.

Wow, movie bob hates this movie, well that means its worth seeing then.

As I have learnt from watching these reviews, Movie Bob's taste is terrible AND "UP" IS A F**KING KIDS MOVIE. So if you think a kids movie is good and everything else sucks, then your a lozza.
Have you seen Up? Please explain to me the relevance of whether a movie is a kids movie or not. Can a movie only be good if it is rated PG-13, becuase that is stupid fucking logic.

Although I do not agree with MovieBob very often, to say that someones taste in movies is terrible because he likes kids movie is completely illogical. There are many, many kids movies out there that have great characters, great story, and are just great movies (most of them are Pixar mind you but the point still stands)

Also, did you just say, lozza? How fucking old are you?

I don't like the idea of a Zelda movie either. I'm a great Zeldafan, but the stories aren't that great.

About the "Up" being a kid's movie:
I'm not sure if it's something negative.

So, about Gamer.
I haven't seen it yet, but it looks really interesting and I don't (and did never) expect it to be great. It looks enjoyable

I thought Gamer was a fun movie. It had a lot of potential to be much deeper on a philosophical level with proper story development, but the movie seemed rush and afraid to step out of the mainstream and deliver a message it was trying to state.

Edit: Also, Bob, Silent Hill a good movie? You might just lose all credibility ever. If it wasn't for your Transformers review I'd be GONE!
