Damn it America! Hands off Ayoade, you clearly don't know what you're doing! Next thing you know you'll be remaking the Inbetweeners with Will played by somebody tall, Neil played by some sort of Hippy, Jay by some chubby chap and Simon by somebody who doesn't even have a quiff...

I ... I can't even click on the play button. Not after seeing US Shameless and US IT Crowd. I just don't think I can take it.

I hate that guy, Iodine or whatever he's called. He get a lot of credit because he shows up in a lot of experimental comedies like Mighty Boosh, Nathan Barley and Dark Place, but he's generally the worst thing in them. Some of his lines can be funny, but he's so reliant on his delivery to get the laugh and it just doesn't work for me. Everything he's in he just stiff-necks and nasals his way through it. most comedians evolve their style over time. Not this guy though. It seems like on his first preformance he said to himself "yep, that was perfect. Now to keep doing this till I retire". Bonus points if you reads that in his voice.

Zoolander= not good
Pish posh. Zoolander is a great movie. I like it a lot.

Ben Stiller does good movies sometimes. I liked the nights at the museum too.
Night at the Museum was a good movie... It was pretty well written and had a fun premise. That still doesn't make Stiller a good comedian.

Zoolander was... well, I suppose you're entitled to your opinion.

Hey, could someone please explain to me what that newspaper article Bob mentioned was?

I don't live in the US, so obviously don't understand what he's talking about.

I simply can't believe a movie with Vince Vaughn in it isn't funny. /sarcasm

On a mildly related note, Jurassic Park 2 (Lost World) was playing on TV recently, and the most amusing thing in that movie was seeing Vince Vaughn in a role other than his usual shmarmy douchebag tripe. It's crazy!

This one's different! This one is made by MTV, so you just know it'll be super duper amazing!

Why do I get the feeling that Richard Ayoade pulled a Moss and accidently wandered onto the set of this film.

All you had to say was "Ben Stiller and Vince Vaghn" and I wouldn't be going within 100 yards of the theater.
All I had to hear was Ben Stiller, Vince Vaughn, and suburban beta male douchebags, and my interest dried up faster than a Genesis reunion tour.

If you want to see a decent, if not GOOD movie about suburban wacky antics, check out The Burbs. It's not good, but it is funny to put on with a few good friends who are good at riff trax routines.

Oh yeah, I remember hearing about this movie during the Trayvon Martin case. I feel so privileged and fortunate to actually KNOW about some big current news for once.

The Burbs? That sounds familiar, don't think I've ever seen it though, at least not the whole thing. Didn't that have Tom Hanks in it?

Yeah, it's a Tom Hanks movie.

On a scale of Philadelphia to Mazes & Monsters, it rates a solid 3, maybe a 4 on his movie career.

If you want to know about Mazes & Monsters, check out Spoony's review of it. It's pretty good.

He did the brave review. It was in his article. And by now it would be too late. Brave came out weeks ago.

The more I think about The Watch the more I think about Mystery Men....
....
Still doesn't prevent Ben Stiller from being a dull actor.

LOL the burbs... Now there's a movie about a bunch of doofuses puttering around the neighborhood with too much time on their hands. XD

Tom Hanks is a way better Ben Stiller than Ben Stiller is.
