[Fury Is Me.]

Shiki had been in her dormatory for a while now, playing a video game on her personal Computer, more specifically, she was playing Touhou 7, Perfect Cherry Blossom, just because she felt like getting frustrated with Danmaku Hell. "Gaaaah... Damnit... Ran ALWAYS gets me when I try to beat her stage on Lunatic level..." She clicked a few keys on her keyboard and shut the game down, then the computer. The folded it shut and sighed before she looked out the window at the setting sun. It made her smile. "Heh... always liked sunsets..." For a brief moment, she melted into the serenity of the scene before a thought struck her mind. "Oh yeah! Me and that Marcus guy were gonna hang out! ...I wonder where his dorm is? Hmmm... how am I gonna find him?" She sat down for a moment and thought. She didn't know where he was so, even though she could GO anywhere she wanted, she didn't KNOW where to look.

It was getting darker now. Marcus sort of liked it when it got dark around here because the lights all flickered on and the orange glow lit up portions of the campus in a way that just made him feel a little better. Hell to the dorms; chilling on the grass outside was where the real shit was happening.

Although that feeling of vague betterness was currently drowning under a wave of nervousness because he thought, or rather obviously knew, that his powers were useless and boring compared to a lot of people's. He was actually a little glad that Shiki hadn't met up with him at the end of the day, in fact. She'd probably think it was a silly group of powers to have and... laugh?

Ah, screw that; if Shiki happened to wander by he could just bust a flip or two and then amaze her on the way back to the dorms. He could climb those stairs faster than you could say "Marcus is a fucking amazing stair climber" and then jump the whole way to the bottom without so much as a single complaint. No need to worry about the power being boring because, really, it's what he did with it that counted. And being an acrobatic dude who could summon up JRPG weapons at semi-will had it's advantages over being a portal-jumping, occult-worshipping hyper girl.

Speaking of hyper girls, that Ichigo hadn't been too bad either... And the brief conversation he'd had with Sky hadn't been terrible. It was nice to have a few people to talk to in that first day.

His thoughts were getting off-topic. He'd planned to meet up with Shiki and she'd probably managed to forget and was now warping randomly from place to place searching for him. Maybe he could make it easier by being in view of the dorms...?

Yeh, that'd work.

He pushed himself up from the grass and wandering vaguely dorm-wards until he was sure that he could be seen from the windows. He sat down with his back to a tree and his arms folded behind his head, gazing in a semi-trance at the orange lights.

As Shiki gazed out of her overly ornate window, which she had gapped in from another dimension when she gapped away her old boring window, she spotted a figure moving across the yard to a tree. It caught her eye amongst the few others there because it seemed familiar. She decicdd to take a look and opened a gap in front of her eyes and another near the figure, but out of it's sight. She looked at it and noticed that it was Marcus, sitting down in front of the tree. She closed the gaps and smiled. Without a moment to spare, she quickly opened a gap and fell into it, landing on a tree branch on the tree, holding it with her legs. She swung out, upside down, right in front of Marcus' face. Somehow, their faces were perfectly level. "Hiya!~"

"Shikieiki! Perfect timing," Marcus grinned, pleased that Shiki had been able to find him so quickly. He was a little annoyed he hadn't come up with hanging from the tree by his legs actually but it was only a minor annoyance. He shrugged it off and went straight back to his grin.

It was straight to showing off; he pushed himself up from sitting down into a crouch and then jumped straight onto the branch Shiki was hanging from. He crouched on the branch and kept himself stable with his hands, "I was starting to think that you might just have forgotten this morning entirely."

Shiki looked up at him, impressed at the height of his jump. She immediatly let her legs relax and she fell from the branche, head first into a gap and back onto the branch, on her feet, like him. "Not bad!"

Had she just...? That was actually pretty good.

"Not bad yourself Shiki..." He tilted his head to the side and, adamant to not be outdone by Shiki, thought he'd try something a bit better than just jumping up to a branch. He spied a few nicely positioned branches that would suit his needs nicely.

Marcus stood up on the branch and quickly leaped to another one only a metre or so away before vaulting up to a higher branch, just grasping the branch with his outstretched hand. He swung himself forwards and up, landing on a third branch. From here he took a quick dash towards the tree's trunk, kicked himself upwards using a small indent in the bark and used his momentum to flip onto one of the lower branches of the tree's canopy, grinning widely at the girl who was still at least a full storey down from him as he finished his useless free-running spectacle.

Damn, he hoped she'd been watching that. That had been epic.

Cecilia walked out of her dorm, in a fresh change of clothes, but this time she was wearing a red undershirt.
Not much of a change, but hell, it's something.
She walked out of her dorm, walking by the grass field, and looking across it.
What a beautiful field, lovely grass, a nice sun set, beautiful trees, people hanging on tre- WAIT WHAT!?
She looked at the two people hanging by a tree branch with a confused look. As she watched one of them do some strange acrobatics, and jump out of the tree. She walked towards them, being careful they didn't see her.

Shiki had, indeed, been watchingg Marcus, in awe. She blushed lightly in a feeling of being belittled a bit and scratched the back of her head. "There's no way I can do that..." Then she stopped and rubbed her chin, in thought. "But I'm not just going to gap myself up there... Hmmm..." She snapped her fingers as an idea popped into her head. She opened up a small gap and reached heer hand into it. She stuck her tongue out and felt around. "No... No... No... No- YES!" She gripped Something on the other end and pulled her hand back out. In her hand was a very real looking Longshot, like from the Zelda games. She pointed it towards the branch Marcus was on and shot it, hitting the branch directly. It quickly pulled her up and she ggrabbed the branch as she got close, pulled the Longshot out of the branch, tossed it behind her, where it fell into another gap, and gripped the branch with two hands, pulled herself up and dusted herself off. "How was that?~" She thought.

Adam went to his dorm for a few hours. In that time, he managed to get the stains out of his jersey, pick out the dried mud from his scalp and managed to set his bed up for tomorrow. With all of his errands complete, he decided to spend his time the best way he could: by posing shirtless in front of his full body mirror. Besides the 14 years of bad luck, it hasn't been that bad of a day. He managed to have some fun, fix all of his problems and tomorrow he'll get to go back on that field and show off his skills to the college scouts.

Tomorrow is definitely gonna be better, he could feel it in his strong calcium-rich bones and even in his nicely shaped and toned muscles.

A hookshot? From Legend of Zelda too? The girl could pick her game props well.

He stood on the branch as Shiki gained her balance. She hadn't managed to get up as well as he had but he was a little glad that she hadn't simply defeated the entire point with a portal. He wondered why not... Maybe she was just wanting to show off too? He didn't see why she couldn't.

"Come on Shikieiki, just a little further." He made a 'follow me' gesture before jumping up through the higher branches, making quick work of getting to the top. He sat down on the very highest branch, parting a few of the leaves into a makeshift cushion and waiting for his friend to catch up.

Shiki thought for a moment about what she would do next. "Hmmm... I could... No... I... Got it!" She cracked her knuckles and opened another gap by pulling space apart with her hands, just to show off. A long staircase extended out of it, seemingly endlessly, until it hit the other branch, when it stopped abruptly, even though it showed no sign of a reason for it. She kept the gap open and walked up the stairs like it was nothing, holding back a chuckle. When she reached the same branch as her new friend, the stairs snapped back into the gap and it shut. She chuckled.

"Stairs? That one was just really taking the piss..."

He took a quick look downwards, wondering just how high up they'd managed to get. Holy shi- This must have been a huge tree; they were at least two thirds of the way up to the bell tower. He turned his attention back upwards.

"So Shiki..." He rested his head on a hand, not quite sure what one says once one has climbed to the very highest point of a tree, "Can you just summon whatever you want from those portal things?"

 

[Lost In The Void]

Ichigo was still awake when she heard rustling below the dorms. Swinging up she looked to the lawn of the dorms to see two people on the lawn. She squinted and saw a girl she hadn't meant and the boy she had talked with today, it was exciting to see that there was some night activity going on. She loved the night and would relish the chance to stretch her legs.

Changing into her skirt and blouse, she opened the window and slid out, gripping the side of the dorms to slowly crawl down. She slipped her gloves on once she was on the ground and moved towards the tree the other two were climbing. Gripping the stump of the tree, she extended her claws and began to climb up, a lot quicker than the other two due to her claws; gripping onto a branch, she tried to pull herself up. Fate was against her though as the branch snapped and with a scream that sounded a bit like a yowl, she began to fall out of the tree before gripping one of the lower branches.

Gaining her balance once again she began to climb the tree once more and finally leveled with the other two, "Hi," she said cheerfully, "What are you guys doing?"

Now who is that? She looks like she has claws... and cat ears?
Ceilia moved forward, slowly making her way closer to the tree, and the people.
Careful... Careful... Don't let them spot you, or you will have to answer questions you don't want to.
She moved through the grass, she was currently invisible, and moved slowly, in pattern with the wind, in hopes they wouldn't notice the moving grass.

Shiki thought for a moment, but she didn't need to. The answer was obivous. "Anything I want~ They're not just portals that link to this dimension. I can go to any of the infinite universes in existence~ If I think it, it exists, therefore I can have it~ I can go where I want, when I want, and take what I want~" She said, with a cute giggle.

She then heard Ichigo below them and she looked down. "Oh! Hello! We were just climbing this tree! Who're you?"

Thomas looked out his window, the cool, summer night air going against his face a stark contrast to the warmth of his room. First day here, and I've had to use a smokescreen twice, got kicked in the face by a girl I have a crush on, got a dorm with no roommate and nothing but ramen noodles in the cupboards, and, worst of all, it's not going to be winter for months! He plopped down on his bed and laid there for a moment before hearing rustling outside. When he went to check the window, he saw only a few people around a tree. "So... some guy, that odd girl, and... is that a catgirl? You think I would have noticed that..." He said, leaning on the window. Until I get a TV, this is probably going to be the best source of entertainment I can get... He thought, keeping an eye on the guy in the tree. Damn it, everyone has a partner but me, don't they? He thought, letting out a small sigh.

As Donkey sat in his room, a burst of blue light flew in through the window. It soar past his head, and hit the wall opposite the window, and a Blue rimmed portal opened. Through the portal could, a corner in downtown could be seen. The opposite portal was on the wall of the Has Bean, the local coffee shop.
"Zi, man thanks for the scope, I think I put it in my dorm." said Booster sticking his head through, he saw Donkey by the window.
"Suffering Sappho, this isn't my room it is my friend and fellow member of the science club Thomas "Donkey" Alcott age 16." said Booster in the hammy, and stilted style of a silverage superhero.

"Hey Donkey mind if Zirat and I come in then?" he asked

Thomas jumped back, nearly falling out the window as he did, when Booster came in to the room. He hit Booster in the arm. "Don't do that to me!" He yelled. After a second to calm down, he looked through the portal. "But fine, come on in. Nothing else to do, anyway." He added, taking a seat on the bed. Well, Booster can make me feel better. He can make anyone feel better. He thought, waiting for Booster to call in Zirat.

 

[Zirat]

Zirat decided to let himself in through the portal. "Well then, hello Donkey" he said, taking a sip of a large styrofom cup with the Has-Bean logo on it. "Nothing like portal travel to save on time" he said with a grin. As it was getting later in the day, his mood had lifted considerably.
"So, an eventful first day, hasnt it?" He asked, leaning against a wall that conveniantley didnt have a portal in it.

"I guess." Thomas said, rubbing his face. It still hurt from getting kicked there. "Can't believe some douche would do that stunt in the cafeteria, though. I'm glad Sky's okay about it, but I doubt Samantha will ever even look at me without trying to shoot me or some shit." He took out a piece of rolled paper, but put it back. Heh, once they leave. He thought, looking back at Zirat.
