I do that at work! Lunch time rolls around, I get my hat and coat and announce that 'Wizard Needs Food Badly!' I even enunciate the capitalised letters, Morgan Freeman stylez.bakonslayer said:'Blue Valkyrie Needs Food Bad'
I've said this sooo many times in public wishing someone would understand my plight and my reference at the same time...
I kind of agree with the goof part, but then again I see people making goofs of themselves by simply walking down the street. Hell, look at most frat boys on Uni campuses. They outright make complete asses of themselves. But the Wii is a great system to play for simple fun. Unless you're Yahtzee of course, and the Wii is just a very popular spunk bubble. The only reason I haven't turned my Wii on in a while is because I haven't had a telly here at Uni. I think I may go home and get it though.GrahamS said:The joke was actually that, regardless of how much fun the Wii is (and I do own one), you still look like a goof playing it.CurtDogg said:Anyone else getting tired of the whole "HURR WII HAS NO GAMES, I HAVEN'T TURNED IT ON IN X MONTHS" cliche? The whole feature story just seemed like it was just an excuse to say it.
Seriously, I wish people would actually LOOK at games that have come out instead of expecting Nintendo to provide every one of them
(Also, I expect Nintendo to provide Wii games because they make the majority of the games that are worthwhile).
Go listen to Rock Paper Cynic's 'The Philosophical Zombie Slayer'. It describes a scenario quite similar to that, with an ironic twist. I'll warn you though, it is quite a nerdy piece.messy said:That was really really good, love the cogito ergo sum bullets. Imagine how trippy a philosophical shooter would be; couldn't take any thing at face value or could you.
That was awesome, you just made my day (bit late in the day but still cheers)BehattedWanderer said:Go listen to Rock Paper Cynic's 'The Philosophical Zombie Slayer'. And this is the mentality that keeps all the excellent 3rd party Wii efforts from selling.GrahamS said:(Also, I expect Nintendo to provide Wii games because they make the majority of the games that are worthwhile).
