This is the first ENN video I watched to see if there was anything past the same damned thing the Escapist now tacks to the end of every one of their other videos.

It was kinda meh - I was wondering whether or not I should bother watching it again but then the incredibly lame and overdone Fresh Prince joke came up. Yep, decided.

Anyone else getting tired of the whole "HURR WII HAS NO GAMES, I HAVEN'T TURNED IT ON IN X MONTHS" cliche? The whole feature story just seemed like it was just an excuse to say it.

Seriously, I wish people would actually LOOK at games that have come out instead of expecting Nintendo to provide every one of them

The joke was actually that, regardless of how much fun the Wii is (and I do own one), you still look like a goof playing it.

(Also, I expect Nintendo to provide Wii games because they make the majority of the games that are worthwhile).

I kind of agree with the goof part, but then again I see people making goofs of themselves by simply walking down the street. Hell, look at most frat boys on Uni campuses. They outright make complete asses of themselves. But the Wii is a great system to play for simple fun. Unless you're Yahtzee of course, and the Wii is just a very popular spunk bubble. The only reason I haven't turned my Wii on in a while is because I haven't had a telly here at Uni. I think I may go home and get it though.

I'm not insulting Yahtzee either. So don't get your knickers in a twist anyone who reads this.

No. We mock everything.

And this is the mentality that keeps all the excellent 3rd party Wii efforts from selling.

Actually the whole situation with the Wii is kinda funny. Back in the Gamecube days, people were bitching about how Nintendo made too many games, and neglected 3rd party support, thus 3rd parties made less games for the system. NOW Nintendo pushed all their big stuff within its first year or so, and despite some awesome 3rd party stuff, people moan about there not being ENOUGH Nintendo games. =P
