I live in New Zealand, apparently tthat means the Americas with the way they have worked their regions out, weird, but cool I guess

Guess I'd be a flexible player, but the characters I'm okay with are Reindheart, Pharah, Winston, Soldier 76 and Lucio I think, I don't know how good I am, not very I'm sure. But I'll try, bought the game last night, so yeah.

How we going to voice chat, just use the in game? Team Speak? Skype, what are the preferences here?

Thanks Aegix!) this sunday?

Post if you can make it so we can get an idea of who can meet up and at what time on Sunday to hash out the details of our premier game. We had a chat yesterday, and it was actually a lot of fun.

I usually can't speak until around 11PM GMT (which is around 6PM EST, I think?), and even then I'm not sure Discord likes my mic so I'll probably just sit quietly in the corner whenever we do it. Not got any plans on Sunday though, so I'm free to creepily eavesdrop whenever's best for everyone else. I probably won't be able to play much on release day either because I should be revising for the exam I've got on the 25th, which is just phenomenal timing, but I'll probably still play for a couple of hours if there's room on a team.
But yeah, for the above reasons I'm good to just be a benched substitute for the early days. Don't want to be stealing the spot of guys that can consistently play the game and can, y'know, actually communicate with the team.

Feel it's worth mentioning World Time Buddy [https://www.worldtimebuddy.com/] if this group's going full-on international. Handy little tool that lets you have multiple timezones all lined up so we can keep track of what time it is in everyone's respective country and if they're playing at 4AM and if we should advise them to go to bed already.

Totally the reason I wanted people to put times that they are free and their time zone. We'd get a consensus and work from there.

But let's see if we can make this a little more organized.

From the Americas Servers, it seems like the majority of that group is on EST (5 out of the 8 people who gave their time zones are from there, so I think we should use that as a basis

Likewise, From the EU servers, the majority are from the UK. So if we do a joint time, it would have to be a juggle between those two.

Or, we can have an Americas meeting and an EU server meeting. That's something we can all discuss. Like my suggestion of 2-5 pm EST would be 7-10 pm UK time.

I was more asking just which day based on which time zone you were planning to do it on, so if it's Sunday EST, that would mean Monday for me, so I don't get the wrong day is all.

My zone is NZST (every other timezone thingy has it as NZT) according to your link there, so you can add it to the list thingy

I'm about 90% sure my "handle" is just going to be Dmon, if I remember right. I only installed the Blizzard thing so I could try out Overwatch. I should probably put it back on again.

And my location's North America/US-South-East if that helps. I don't remember the specifics. I just remembered trying to drum up the desire to even give the game a far shake (about 30 minutes before I got addicted).

Eh, my pc is very very old. Since Blizzard is good at optimizing games, I could probably run Overwatch at low settings, maybe even mid-decent, but I'd rather enjoy it without trouble on the PS4. I'm also one of those people who is just never as good with keyboard+mouse as they are with a controller.... even when it comes to fps games.

Out of curiosity, how old is very old? Just because mine's like 5 years old. Trying to decide if I should start saving up for an upgrade or not so I could run the game at full graphical settings, rather than looking like a PS1 game. XD

And I'm actually one of the Console-Scrubs turned PC-Gamer who uses a controller to play PC Games. I should try to practice to get good with the keyboard, but it prevents being able to use multiple commands at once without getting weird on me, so I'm usually rather reluctant to do so.
