It was nice to play with you, even for just that little hour I got before work. Glad our first game was a victory though, nice not to start on.

Bought the game on launch in the end. Curse my weak will.

I am kinda :S about discord or w/e talky program you guys are using though. I dunno what I was expecting, guess just wanted to find bunch of randoms to play with, talk programs and chatting were not part of the initial pitch.

Currently trying to master Symmetra mostly because I feel she is the least played of the supports even though her tp ability is amazing.
Got fucking cheated on my first lootboxes, nothing but crappy emblems and logo and skin for characters I dont like.

Overwatch isn't a MOBA, it's a character shooter. Think Team Fortress 2, that sort of thing

Do you know what Team Fortress 2 is? It's a team based character shooter, so is Overwatch. You play as characters with abilities and shoot things. MOBA have a focus on minions and lanes as well as leveling up your character etc, this has not lanes or minions. It's team based FPS play with objectives.

i haven't played Team Fortress 2 so no i don't know anythng really i just know is a first person shooting with lving up your character that all i know i have no idea what the objecives is or anything

And now, I shall do what ever person who plays a game with characters will do at some point in their lives: I will complain about my mains.

Lucio is my main right now. And I know people were saying he did too much damage pre-nerf. But he has only his gun for damage. By his very nature of his character, he needs to be with the group to push. So he does need damage. He's very squishy.

My suggestions are a.) buff his damage by 1/4 of what it is now. It's a very slow projectile, and if you have even a LITTLE bit of lag, you're going to be missing, so that needs to be taken to account

b.) add an effect to the projectiles. This will probably be the least favorite suggestion, but I'd even take another nerf to damage is the soundwave blaster did something like... blur the vision of someone who was hit by too many projectiles. It would actually make a little sense if someone was disoriented if they were bit by a sonic weapon.

c.) ...starts the alt fire suggestions. I was thinking something like a full clip sound blast would do more damage, but eat the rest of the clip. like 100 damage for a full clip. But it would be a focus limited range single person attack instead of an area affect blast. Anything short of a full clip does the regular blast back.

d.) remove or lessen the cool down of alt fire. If it takes ammo, the redundancy of the time limitation is needless. I get the fear that he'd become a out of bounds monster, but that's a very map and situational specific thing.

Now that I got my prerequisite whining about my character out of the way, I shall talk about other people (not our team, our team are rock stars).

For everyone who picks a tank and doesn't move up with a tank... stop playing the tank. Stop. You're hurting us. You have at least two members of the team who will just follow you. You're effectively halving the effectiveness of the team because us supports or Offensives are following you, awaiting for you to do your role.

... Great, I just got out of a game and now I want to play Overwatch again. Stupid video game heroin.
