I lurk more than I post, only doing so in topics I find interesting and occasionally making a new topic when I think it will provide some interesting conversation.
One thing I never do that I see people do all of the time is include "fellow escapists" in their original post, as though it's required. It's not what I'd call a pet peeve, just something that irks me slightly, so I make a point not to do it whenever I post a topic.

I'm usually in the User Reviews, and Forum Games section. I lurk and post in off topic and GD, and post in Religion and Politics occasionally, usually on something I actually know. I guess you could me the Jack of all Trades poster.

I'm the type of poster who types into the field at the bottom of the page then hits the "post" button.

Probably someone who tries too hard, and just flops somewhat in his posts.

Not too sure what stereo type I'd fit into.
My real world sense of humour does not translate what so ever on the internet, as without me laughing as I say things, they could seem offensive, so I am very careful what I write:
Any stereo type title for that?

I would say I'm an ironic poster. I try to find an ironic perspective of the topic.

Also I tend to read only about half the opening post, but the topic is usually self explanatory.

mostly lurker, but have been posting a bit more lately. i guess i am a posting-lurker, if that makes any sense.
That.
Also, I try to be funny sometimes, but that one does mostly go wrong. :(

I'm the guy who makes funny posts and once in a while gets quoted on them, making him a happy fellow.
Ooo i quoted you, does that make you happy?

I'm really not that sure.. I'm the kind of poster that tries to make smart remarks.. but always fail due to the escapist being full of people that know so much more than me..

I lurked for a good while before getting an account, but these days I just log on, check for threads worth posting in, then leave. I'm not a compulsive poster.

I'm not sure... probably the one who pops up now and then, doesn't say much of discussion value and if they're angry, everyone will know about it.

I'm the type that tries to be reasonable and give a well thought out arugement, but does end up getting a little jerkish when annoyed.

Bit of a lurker, but without the actually wanting to fit in. I lose interest too quickly. Here for the articles or when I'm bored at 3am and can't sleep (as in now).
Yea kind of this, although its not 3am yet. I rarely start threads though or comment in them.

I still don't have enough posts to judge myself, but I try to play it as nice as I can, only mods can tell if I'm doing it right.

I'd just say "devil's advocate" and leave, but such a short answer would certainly earn me some moderator wrath.

So I did the same thing, only sandwiched it between a lot of words. There we go. High-content post, here.

Well, I mostly stay on the forum games, while lurking a bit around the off-topic and gaming discussion sections. The I post something once in a while, if the thread interests me and I feel that I've got something relevant to say.

Oh, and sometimes I throw in a joke.
So, I guess you can call me a lurker.
