SNIPPITY DOO DA!

Ooh, now I'm interested.
Do you have a handy link for me?
You'll have to give me a while.
It was buried under about 40 pages of random stuff from Forum Games.
Hooray! I love evil stuffs.

Tough question. I mainly stay with the RP section, but I've been going to off-topic and news a lot more lately, but don't post often. I'm not a lurker by any measure, but I only post when there is something for me to contribute or I have a strong opinion. I guess you could call me a thoughtful poster.

"He's the kind of person who if you asked him what time it was, would tell you the story of how he got his watch." - Bill Simmons, on Bob Costas.

Fits me pretty well.

Well I like to think I'm one of the more out there personalities on the Escapist, I've certainly been told that. Plus I myself think of myself as a mix of a lurker and heavy debater who can elequently say perfectly what he means.
Plus apparently I'm still resident Halo fan and resident Badass Alien, so that's a plus too.

I've linked it in SQ, SA for you.
You'll agree, it's very nasty and painful.

I am a lurker, slow to post, but when I post I have a lot to say. Keeps my post count low but my word count high. If I make an argument I try to support it. Often I start writing a post, then after about 10 minutes of writing, I realize that there's no real point to it, and I delete it.
I post most often whenever I have more important things to be doing.

Overall: Procrastinating, thorough, but still mostly a lurker.

I toss out an opinion when asked, and I only get in flame wars when a post really irks me, or is just very wrong. I try to keep it interesting, and getting quoted gives me a chubby. I hate zealots, those who will never cede their point, ever. It's one thing to stay the course, but these people purposefully ignore opposing viewpoints, or dismiss them out of hand. I have to respect a successful troll, even when it's on me...as long as they have the decency to tell you it was a troll.

Vrex, I don't think anyone could take your place.
You're the only person I've ever seen defend Halo with a seemingly calm, contained voice.
Or maybe I was just missing the rage entirely.

Apparently I'm known as someone who puts a lot of thought into their posts and makes them a bit longer than usual, so I guess I must fit that stereotype. I know myself that I don't post anywhere near as often as I used too on here, but that's because of time constraints more than anything else. I'm happy with how I post now, commenting on things that interest me or occassionally having to update one of my threads, it seems to work well for me.

Thanks. You didn't miss any rage however, typically there is no rage to miss I try to remain calm and level headed because I don't want to conform to any stereotype of the Halo fan.
Thanks again, it's nice to know someone thinks my position here is mine and my own.....my precious.
*ahem*
Sorry, just watched the Lord of the Rings trilogy so it's kind of stuck on the mind.

I'm the one who usually responds in very few words and if he goes for too long he goes off topic and starts talking about his pet peeves or something, like how he hates it when people chew on fleece. Like seriously! That shit bugs me to no end, it's just the... texture! Or maybe the sound. I don't know, but it really bothers me.

I'm the person that alludes to socialism in every other post. Where does that fit me in the stereotype range?

Good to hear that I'm not an oblivious monkey.
:-D
And that's understandable.
Just don't jump on random people's backs.
Nobody likes that.

I'm quiet and unnoticed. I don't mind. And I'm fairly sure I'm not "enemies" with anyone. I have been known to voice an opposing (but also correct) opinion of things which pisses people off.

Eh, can't please everyone.

Prefer to lurk.
I rather like to read other posts and think my opinion rather than broadcast it.
upside - when someone says something I dislike, I'm not stepping on toes (heaven forbid being mean on the internet!!)
downside - never make friends with the truly interesting people. (Friends are for squares anywho)
