I thought Alpha Protocol was really cool for making your choices actually, legitimately have consequences, instead of the typical "kill or don't kill this dude and there will be maybe half a word of dialogue from some side character later related to that non-choice you made".
I also thought that Spec Ops: The Line is absolutely childish and completely overrated.
And I firmly hold the position that Far Cry 3 is not "racist" (against Rook Island's natives, of course), because they are not "a race" (one look at them and you'll see about half a dozen ethnic origins). Literally nothing on the island is native to the island. Not the "natives", not the pirates, not the wildlife and flora, not the culture behind the tribal-tattoo-warrior-theresaknife thingamagic that was admittedly really fucking stupid (it's spelled out in the game that the whole bullshit is made up after a stolen ancient Chinese artifact). The island just steals shit from where it can and dumps it into one melting pot of nonsense.
Story was still really fucking weak though.
Oh, and I really enjoyed Human Revolution.
Guess that makes me a bad thing.
