I thought Alpha Protocol was really cool for making your choices actually, legitimately have consequences, instead of the typical "kill or don't kill this dude and there will be maybe half a word of dialogue from some side character later related to that non-choice you made".

I also thought that Spec Ops: The Line is absolutely childish and completely overrated.

And I firmly hold the position that Far Cry 3 is not "racist" (against Rook Island's natives, of course), because they are not "a race" (one look at them and you'll see about half a dozen ethnic origins). Literally nothing on the island is native to the island. Not the "natives", not the pirates, not the wildlife and flora, not the culture behind the tribal-tattoo-warrior-theresaknife thingamagic that was admittedly really fucking stupid (it's spelled out in the game that the whole bullshit is made up after a stolen ancient Chinese artifact). The island just steals shit from where it can and dumps it into one melting pot of nonsense.
Story was still really fucking weak though.

Oh, and I really enjoyed Human Revolution.
Guess that makes me a bad thing.

flame shield up!

-Final Fantasy 8 and 10 are by far my favorites in the series. I find 6 to be overrated and 7 to be absolute crap.

-On a related point: I cheered when Aeris (I refuse to call her Aerith) died. not because it was a masterpiece of storytelling but because it meant I would never have to see her useless, purity sue face in my active party ever again.

-I enjoyed Duke Nukem Forever for the most part.

-I had never heard of Fallout before number 3.

-I had never heard of The Elder Scrolls before Oblivion.

-I had barely heard of Deus Ex before Human Revolution. It's still the only one I've played.

-I have played exactly one Legend of Zelda game. A Link to the Past. I hated it and have no desire to play another one.

-Dragon Age 2 was better than Origins.

-Mass Effect 3 had one of my favorite endings of any game. The extended cut just made it better.

-I have never played a pokemon game nor do I have a desire to do so.

-I thought Saint's Row: The Third was much funner than number 2. 2 had a better story though.

I never actually played Persona 4, but Loved the anime (might get into Golden if it comes out on PSN)
Don't actually play many games due to time restrictions
I was perfectly fine with the original ME3 ending though I can understand why people don't like it
I never have played any of the classics like Shadow of the Colossus, ICO, or Bastion
I play Fallout 3 using Console commands
I actually only like Blazblue and Persona 4 Arena for the story and characters because I suck at fighting games

so yeah, give me all of your wonderful hate

Let me see...

- I think the Half-Life franchise is overrated as fuck
- I think Grand Theft Auto IV is overrated as fuck
- I think Final Fantasy VII is overrated as fuck
- I think Resident Evil 4 is overrated as fuck
- I enjoyed BioShock 2
- The only Pokémon game I have ever played is Pokémon Black
- I have never played Shadow of the Colossus
- I have never played Journey
- I will never ever understand the praise the for Valve, I love Steam and I enjoy their games. But Steam is unstable as fuck and they never seem to do anything to fix its issues, the only thing good about it is the deals. They troll fans with Half-Life 3 shit and then never release it, yet everyone is just like "Heh, it's Valve though lol, they're just messin'" but if EA, Ubi, or Activision did that people would grab their fucking pitchforks.

I never cared about Mass Effects ending and found that whole month long pissing-and-mouning-a-thon to be a waste of time and really juvenile.

I've not played, nor will I ever play Bioshock, any of them.

Half Life is over rated.

Sepharoth is not a 'deep' villain, he only pretends to be, he's also one of the least effective in the series.

Zelda: OoT is good, but not really worth the praise it gets, LttP was better.

WoW has never been good.(not really a secret I dislike it though)

Bethesda is an incredibly lazy developer

I like the Battle Network series ... that alone is enough to get the Megaman purists frothing at the mouth but even worse I enjoyed Starforce and found it undeserving of all the hate. To be fair though I like all the Megaman series but it is kinda ironic the only thing that has united the fanbase is Megaman's being all but dead status.

EA is nowhere near as evil as some say.

Every Valve game is an overrated pile of crap especially portal and half life

dragon age 2 was good

Steam is annoying and I prefer not to use it

The Dmc reboot was great

Cod is just average

Cue hate comments!!!!!!!!!!

Darby the Dragon.

Oh, and I could ace the first Time Crisis on one 50p when I was 10.

Oh, and I've never finished Portal.

Doomed to be single, even amongst Gamers.

It still gives me a chuckle when people drop....

"Guys...tbh.....I thought Final Fantasy VII was totally overrated! Zomg. Flaem Sheelds Up!!!!!!"

Yea only you and the entire internet.

Anyways mine:

- FFVII is still my favourite (surprise!)
- I've played through 10-2 four times and will probably do so again
- Despite rattling off that I've played all the numbred FF's with misguided pride I'll never finish III for the DS because it's the most boring game i own on that system. And i can't honestly see me finishing II either
- The most overrated FF for me was Final Fantasy tactics

-I enjoyed DA2 alot more than origins which i thought was a flabby heap, but having said that i don't really consider DA2 to be an RPG at all.

-Not only did i first start playing WoW long into Cataclysm, but i absolutely love it and would probably be playing it now if i had the access to it

- FPS's have been dead to me since Timesplitters 2 and i haven't owned or really enjoyed playing one since

- I am deeply suspicious of people who enjoy RTS games

- I still have Rumble Roses for PS2 despite being a grown man

Yeah, I like Saints Row 3 more than I like 2.
Same. And I am looking forward to Saints 4
I think FFX was the best.
I enjoy The Sims from time to time.
I stare longingly at the EA BF3 soon to be BF4 purchase page wondering if letting my standards for a content delivery service slip would be worth it.
I have an unhealthy attachment to my memories of ChronoCross and SotC.

I love the Fable series despite the fact people hate them.
I hate The Last of Us despite the fact people love it.
'Tis all I got at the moment.
Edit: After I do my dA reviews of silly porn games (Yuusha, Corruption of Champions, etc) I continue to play them later on.
I really like most of EA's games.
I can't play Morrowind for more than a few minutes because I sort of dislike it.
I prefer Saints Row 3 over Saints Row 2.

I have a strange love for games in which you breed creatures. This means I've gone from games like Viva Pinata, and playing the fish-breeding minigame in Dark Chronicle...to even now where I'm playing Dragon City and Monster Legends on Facebook because it means I can experiment with my livestock.

More games need it. I don't even know why I enjoy it so much.

-I freaking hate Wind Waker, due entirely to the USELESS SAILING. WHY IS THE GAME HAVING ME SPEND FORTY MINUTES BETWEEN DUNGEONS JUST SAILING?
-I raged HARD trying to beat the first boss of Skyward Sword, that guy who catches your sword with his fingertips and occasionally steals it and throws junk at you. It was IMPOSSIBLE. I was literally screaming for twenty minutes and throwing the controller around. After that I gave up, fuck Skyward Sword and the Wii Motion Plus gimmick.
-I never played a single Metroid game
-I can't beat the Warden Freeman part of Half-Life 2 without turning on godmode.
-I haven't played more than five minutes of New Vegas, I haven't done any of Fallout 3's DLC beside The Pitt and part of Point Lookout (which was impossible), despite hearing how great Operation Anchorage and Broken Steel is.
-I always play girls in singleplayer games because BOOBIES, I play boys in multiplayer games because my friends probably play with me or I feel like I'm being judged

.... When I was 14 I somehow got my hands on the bible black game and played it for 2 weeks straight trying to find the one good ending after seeing all the evil ones.
If you don't know what bible black is don't look it up and if you do I am not to be held responsible
Dude.

They have a game?

I have got to find it.
No man don't do it! Once you have seen the things I have seen.... you can never go back
I...Is that the futanari hentai? Not that I would know...
Yes, yes it is.. along with much more... so much more in a horrible horrible way.

Unless you're into that stuff, in which case godspeed to find the game... just not for me

I liked Twilight Princess more than OoT.
I haven't even finished OoT.
[small]I've played the very early alpha of Half Life 3[/small]
I didn't care when Aeris died. Still love the game though.
Dunno, that's all I've got for now

This should be fun:

-I hated Half Life 2. I found it boring and the protagonist didn't interest me, nor did half the missions or settings.

-I hate PVP. Not because i'm crap at it, but because i can't stand the egotism and bullshit that surrounds it.

-Never finished any Mass Effect games, and found them boring and full of themselves.

-I rather enjoyed Kingdoms of Amalur.

-League of Legends is one of my favorite PC games, but normally i get 4 friends together and we go and stomp the bots around. Don't care about your meta, don't care what rank you are. Diamonds are a GIRLS best friend anyway.

-Never even played Mario 64. First N64 game? Castlevania. I beat it, and beat it again with the unlockable character. And did the hidden shop keeper boss fight.

-I only played Katawa Shoujo for the Hanako arc. Every other character can fuck right off.

and Finally:

-Deus Ex 1 was CRAP! Everyone who lords it as a pinnacle of gaming and puts it in their Top Ten list of all time needs to have their eyes and head examined. Neat premise, shitty execution.

Other than that, I'm good

Aww, stuff like not finishing Half Life and liking CoD have already been taken.
Hmm, guess I just need to think harder then...
Got it!
Not only do I like CoD, but I absolutely love Dynasty Warriors as well! (although how anyone can hate a game with as magnificent a character as Zhang He is an utter mystery to me).

I willingly paid money for Ultima IX on GOG.

I still think there's a good game in Duke Nukem Forever somewhere.

I think the original Unreal: Tournament is the pinnacle of the competitive stlye of FPS. (I've got no interest in most PVP.)

I found Final Fantasy X-2 to be an infinitely more enjoyable experience than X.

I like the law system in FFTA.

I've paid over £30 on release day for several games that are still in their shrink wrap over a year later.

I actually quite enjoy Diablo III.

Since spending £1400 on my new PC, most of my time on it has been spent playing Doom The Roguelike. (Mainly because that's what I got stuck into when the graphics card had to go back for repairs.)

When I was young and the Orange Box was new, I was stupid enough to buy the game preowned and ended up having to buy it a second time.

Don't tell anybody, it's real embarrassing.

Hm. I never beat Bastion, I don't think The Last of Us is all it's cracked up to be, I don't like the Half-Life series, I don't enjoy the Doom games all that much.

Assassin's Creed II is the only AC game I like because it's not submerged in bullshit until the last five minutes, Diablo sucks royally and so does Torchlight, and I don't think that Majora's Mask was as good as is said.

Also Final Fantasy X is the best of the series.

P.S: And before people start asking if I genuinely like the laughing scene at Lucca, I do, because the actual point of the scene flew over so many heads that the irony of calling it "bad voice acting" amuses me.
