I had the fortune to get the two hosts in the Sweepstake I'm doing with my football watching friends - Poland, and Ukraine - so obviously I'll be rooting for them.
Apart from that, I have no real strong feelings towards any particular team. I've become disillusioned with my national side - England - due to a combination of lifelong disappointment and my growing dislike towards the majority of the squad (I simply cannot bring myself to like a team boasting John Terry, Wayne Rooney, Ashley Cole...the list goes on). I quite like Roy Hodgson though, so I'm mildly divided on that issue.
I suppose I may well end up rooting for Denmark, if only because they have a touch of ex-West Ham class at right back, in the form of one Lars Jacobsen. Although considering the amount of shit I have given my Arsenal supporting friends about Nicklas Bendtner, I might catch some stick if he plays a part in Denmark's success.

But I will be rooting for the group I rooted for during the World Cup (after America was eliminated of course...): Germany
I always loved watching them play during the WC. They had a very "attack attack attack" attitude and we were usually rewarded with a ton of goals (or at least the times I watched them I got to see tons of goals).
I have absolutely no clue how good they currently are but I'm sticking with them because...well...why not? Although they're looking a bit rough in the Portugal game that is currently on...

That sure as hell was proven today. Oh sure, they battered on Denmark like your average DPS class, but all Denmark needed was one chance to finish it off, ninja-style. However, I don't see it happening unless they shape up. The victory against Portugal was deserved, but there are still major coordination problems; a performance like the one we saw tonight won't get the job done.
(Also, Denmark's victory was one hell of a surprise.)

Well if yesterday was anything to go by, this tournament may prove rather dire. I think Denmark did incredibly well to hold on against the Netherlands, and I was happy to see Germany pick up the win (I really, really hate Christiano Ronaldo).
I'm honestly hoping for some entertainment out of Spain and Italy today, failing that I think Ireland v Croatia could actually be pretty good craic.
Bold shout. Germany may have only managed to slot one in against Portugal, but they did play a very conservative style. I reckon we're going to see a lot of 1-0 wins from them en route to (at least) the Semi-Final.ToTaL LoLiGe said:

Portugal annoyed me last night.
Actually, it was more the ref. Seemed to be giving too many wrong decisions in Portugal's favour.
Also, it gets boring hearing the commentators trying to link anything to England so they can talk about them, when they aren't playing.

I think Ireland may be one of my dark horses - One has to consider that they were within a Hand-ball of the last World Cup, against France, who people seem to be rating quite highly for this (Possibly because they're in a group with England, and if England lose to France then it's okay because 'France are potential champions').Wolf In A Bear Suit said:
