England/Great Britain is my first, with Germany as my second. Ireland is my third I guess?
I'll be cheering for France also!

Why, who will we face next round if we come second in the group?ToTaL LoLiGe said:We better beat Ukraine by three or more goals and hope Sweden make sure that France only beat them by one goal.
If we finish second we'll play probably end up playing against Spain but if Croatia beat Spain then we'll play Croatia. Croatia and Spain are tied on 4 points in group C.Hazy992 said:Why, who will we face next round if we come second in the group?ToTaL LoLiGe said:We better beat Ukraine by three or more goals and hope Sweden make sure that France only beat them by one goal.
Oh right yeah that'd be kinda bad. What about if we're top of the group?ToTaL LoLiGe said:If we finish second we'll play probably end up playing against Spain but if Croatia beat Spain then we'll play Croatia. Well if we win the group we'll play whoever is second in group C. If Spain beat Croatia and Italy win against Ireland then we'll play Italy. If Italy fail to win against Ireland then we'll play Croatia. However if Italy beat Ireland by five goals and Spain and Croatia draw then Italy will top the group, that makes Italy a potential opponent if we come second but I can't see Italy winning by five goals and Croatia drawing with Spain. The most likely opponent is Croatia and I'm confident that we could take them.Hazy992 said:Oh right yeah that'd be kinda bad. Well, let's see how Rooney performs, 'cos he can be rather unpredictable at international level... though yeah, I'd be damned impressed if England get to the semis...OmniscientOstrich said:Yeah, I think he's jumping the gun just a smidgen there. XD I mean if by some miracle France draw against Sweden or Croatia beat Spain and we subsequently get the former in the quarters, then I think we can get to the Semis at best (which honestly I'd pretty damn impressed with :3) but I feel the moment we go up against a top calibre side we'll fold. >.>
Not really sure just how it was supposed to go down with viewers (particularly Spanish/Irish ones) but a bunch of Irish supporters held up a massive flag of Ireland proclaiming: SPAIN vs IRELAND ... 'Group of Debt'Wolf In A Bear Suit said:No what banner? Was it Long Cox
Dude we both know that Greece has the habit of screwing us over, don't want to play them at all.Anoni Mus said:2-1 is not fair, 4-1, maybe 5-2 would represent better how the game went. Portugal dominating almost the whole match, except the first 12 minutes and near the end where it was balanced.
All the team were great, specially Pepe, Ronaldo, Moutinho and Coentrão. Custodio did well as a replacement for Meireles.
We have Portugal vs Chech Republic and Germany vs Greece for the quarted finals.
Go Greece, kick Germany out of the Euro!
I love how his team-mate came up to him to cover his mouth as if to say 'dude, no, you'll just make it worse for yourself'. XD Have to admit, Spain really didn't do much to impress me this game other than further demonstrate that bringing on Fabregas as a sub is their ace in the hole. Croatia really seemed the more adventurous side, but I suppose when you have that kind of chance on a plate with that free header, you've really got to take them. =/ Anyway, here's hoping Rooney will help instill the side with a bit more verve, we could really do with a convincing win here tonight. :3Wadders said:ooh Balotelli,
hes a striker,
he's good at darts,
hes got an allergy to grass
but when he plays he's fucking class,
he drives around Moss Side with a wallet full of cash!
Yeah...
Glad he got a goal, and a really nice one too, the fucking madman.
Looks like it paid off, for England at least. We owe you oneBroady Brio said:I've got bets on England drawing or losing against Ukraine. And I have the worst luck with betting.
Meaning England shall win at the cost of my bet. Well, one can hope.
Yeah, I think it was best for everyone concerned if Balotelli kept his mouth shut and just did his usual nonchalant "celebration."OmniscientOstrich said:I love how his team-mate came up to him to cover his mouth as if to say 'dude, no, you'll just make it worse for yourself'. Yeah, not the most exciting game to watch to say the least, it seems we've been winning ugly quite a bit under Hodgson, but we have been getting the results and really that's the important thing, I think Roy has really helped to bring a sense of pragmatism to the team. Rooney was pretty shocking for most of the game I have to admit, which dissapointed me. Milner continues to be thoroughly underwhelming; though I understand the advantage of utilising Walcott as an impact player rather than starting him and we did have a stroke of serendipity with Sweden trumping the French which I never really expected to happen. Yeah, we're not looking brilliant, but solid would be an apposite term to describe our performances thus far I feel, particularly in defence and I'm certainly a hell of a lot more confident about the prospect of facing Italy over Spain, should be pretty evenly matched and hopefully we can get the better of them. :3 Win or lose, they'll be a lot of drinking done this Sunday. XDWadders said:Rooney looked knackered and my mum could have put that away, not the convincing win you hoped for but to win the group is awesome! Bring on Italy.
As you say, its the winning that counts, Hodgson's taken us further than many anticipated so fair play to the fella.OmniscientOstrich said:snip
