Well, there's Samuel, a.k.a Castor, a.k.a Alexander's sorta ghost/copy/hallucination of his brother he created through stress and amplified by Unit-31's A.T field. (Haven't revealed that yet) Since at some point we're breaking into Owen's office, you could suddenly arrive and Alastor could take note of Samuel, mistaking him for an angel.

He could say something like, "I sense a brother. How?" or something along those lines with Samuel taking note as well. Plus, since it's pretty obvious we find out about Seele and a few other things about each other, Alastor might want to do something about it and take over Owen's body. Then Alexander may have to fight him, surprised that Dr. Laurence can fight like that at all. And then shit gets real, etc, etc, blah.

Just a suggestion.

Interesting proposal. I like the part about Castor and Alastor sensing each other - up until know I haven't been sure how to get his existence into the open.

That said, I've been acting under the assumption that Alastor is exceedingly weak. As such, I've been working toward a more subtle strategy so I don't think Alastor will make the first move if we want to have a Parasite-Angel/Ghost-(Angel?) showdown.

So, Alastor is an actual Angel now?

I've been kind of all over the place with Angels. In the show they were generally seen as being extremely powerful, but mindless. Each used a simple plan of attack that it does not deviate from unless it flees. But now we have Angels talking to people and having identities. How to explain this:

Each Angel IS its core. Everything else is the clothes it wore to work that day. While they don't feel any reproductive instinct, their ability to change themselves (a form of auto-evolution) prevents them from being a dead end, as they can just change later. And like the body, intelligence is a trait that is put on or removed at will. Angels have no love of knowledge, seeing it as only a means to an end, and would rather be intelligent as little as possible. Even Tabris, the one who understood humans the most, seemed very limited emotionally.

Angels are like powergaming overspecialized PC's in any RPG game; they do one thing really, really well, and generally don't do anything else.

Actually, I think Alastor is closer to an Evangelion (clone of an angel), just with his mind intact and more limited powers (again, I refuse to envision Owen making A.T. Fields)

I just want to make it more clear in case anyone didn't get it; Aiber doesn't really have any particular romantic feelings for Lisa, the reason he is going primal is because for years the only thing he has wanted has been to be his own person but his dad has so utterly dominated his life that he isn't really sure how to be a normal human being. Now, with the drugs finally acting as a much needed catalyst, he finally found it within himself to do something that was entirely for him and about him. Lisa just happened to be there, if there wasn't a girl around he probably would have stolen a car or something. The way I chose to show this in the post was how in the moment leading up to the kiss, Aiber is only thinking about himself and what he wants, not Lisa. Making a move on her is just a way fro him to feel truly alive if only for a while.

Wow, I never realized how bad my habit of over explaining things was until now.

I had to introduce an NPC just to describe everything going on in the most deadpan scientific way I could come up with.

I'm enjoying this far more than should be reasonable.

Waaaaiit a second, since when is Aiber 16? *looks at character sheet* ....well that is embarrassing. I have been thinking it said 17 all along. It was a typo, he is 17. Sooooo, a little less creepy I guess.

By the way, I think we can assume that they ran a little way and found a place to ummm..."up their sync ratio" rather than right there in the alley.

Well...yeah, minus the whole finding Aiber part, pretty much. Just need CJ(Rev) to add input at some point. The reason he tuned into his eva was so he could see if Aiber would be useful with their plan.

As to how Piggy will find you...no idea. Try to work that out.

Actually, my last post had me landing back at NERV HQ and I was planning to head back to the office. You may want to consider someone pulling a distraction against Owen (which shouldn't be that hard considering how ADD he's turned out to be). You could probably throw a cat at him and he'd be distracted for hours... though the end result would probably be a cat that makes A.T. Fields which may or may not be a good thing.

Aside: It's a strange feeling when I (the player) am actively trying to screw myself (my character) over
