Addison nodded slowly. She leaned back, crossing her arms in contemplation at what Pollux had to say. She hadn't really known of Pollux's life before all of this but only little anecdotes that the scientists had given her early on but even that by itself, seemed sketchy then. What Pollux was saying about NERV and their entire situation fit her mood, she wanted to hear something like that. She damn near expected it too.

"I see them enough. I need some time for myself." Then a question crossed her mind. "Do you have parents? Natural parents?"

Rev watched as the girl buckled to the floor, laughing hysterically at him. He mused to himself that her wounds were going to re-open if she went on like that for long.

"Aw, come on!" he said with a chuckle, rubbing his scalp in a more casual manner. "I didn't think my casanova schtick was that bad!"

He was trying to play his little moment off as a joke. The bright red tint to his cheeks belied just how much the laughter hurt him. "Well, he thought. "I am to please, and at least I'm funny, right?"

He attempted to salvage his currently quite poor social position by switching to something a bit less ludicrous, if not any more serious. He walked up to the girl, whom he did not yet know as 15, and offered her a hand, both as an introduction and a means to help her up.

"My name's Mikhael Rev. What's yours?"

I always hit submit too soon -_-

Mikhael desperately tries to shift the subject away from his social blundering.

Alexander never thought about his parents that often. He only had one basic memory of them, his mother handing them off to their grandmother, kissing both boys on the forehead, and their grandfather helping his father pack the twins basic things. Then the two parents waving goodbye as their young stars are driven away in the nurturing hands of their grandparents driving up towards the mountains for a fun little vacation.

"Yeah, once. I lost them in the impact, rising tides and whatnot. My grandparents lived in the mountains, and when things went to hell they raised us. They were practically my parents. I had a twin brother too."

Alexander looks in the direction of Castor, noticing his eyes slightly watering. Apparently he shared the same memory, and it appeared to have a more profound effect on him. Alexander shook off his own worries and turned back to Addison.

"Any family of your own?"

Alexander shares a bit of his family's past with Addison.

"I have 14 sisters..." Addison said. Once again she was brought back to think about the other Addisons and the one that is still alive. She folded her legs, a sign of discomfort at the subject. "Most of them are all like me, one of them is in NERV right now I think." Addison said but she couldn't care less about 15.

She decided that she was to meet 15 with a greater sense of competition, as if they were vying for who would succeed over one another. Of who would be decided as the superior. Addison knew that the deck was stacked against her but if she ever got the chance then she wouldn't hesitate to take it.

"I don't like them..."

"Wow, big family. And I kinda know what you mean. I'll be honest, I loved my brother and all but at times he could kinda be a dick."

Castor eyed Alexander from next to Addison. He looked quite cross about the statement but Alexander didn't hint that he was gonna take it back anytime soon. He looked back at Addison who appeared to be mulling over her own thoughts.

"But hey, you gotta live with them, I guess. But You know what? I don't need to live with this crap right now. I'm tired of this. We defend this city without asking for too much in return. The least they can do is allow me is a chance to leave this place for a bit if they aren't gonna explain whats wrong with me."

Alexander walked over to the door, content with himself. Before he walked out, he looks through the window and notices five guards on the both sides of the door. Really? They had grunts watching over him now? If they could hear Addison and him, they didn't show it. By the way they were standing, it didn't look like they were gonna let him leave anytime soon.

"Okay, Addison, I'm gonna have to do things your way."

Alexander is finally tired of a week of this hospital's crap and is planning to leave with Addison, if only for a bit.

Dammit, sorry it took me this long to make an opening post. I figured I'd wait until the Angels were dealt with, but didn't intend to take this long.

Well then. It seemed things were going according to plan.

The cursor, a bleached, utilitarian arrow raced across the monitor. LEDs altered their coloring accordingly, shifting from the black of oblivion to the white of bone in an instant, before fading back to darkness. Millions of bits flipped between 1s and 0s, tiny sparks flitting between circuit boards and magnetic disks. Finally, the cursor reached its destination. Its journey at an end, the gently glowing indicator paused for a moment, awaiting further direction.

David clicked the replay button.

For the umpteenth time, he allowed the glory of battle to wash over him. These videos were being broadcast across the globe; they had to be perfect.

To the untrained eye, it might seem that the amalgamation of video clips was meant to simply showcase NERV's victories, reminding the public of the heroes that stood over them, defending them from the vast unknown. To a certain extent, this was true; it was crucial that people believed the vast organization was successful. However, those who could study the patterns of the clips, analyze their content and their purpose, they could easily spot the hidden intent.

Death and destruction, concepts proven to resonate with the public. Twin purposes. First, to lure the audience in, allowing them to feast their depraved minds on images of chaos and bloodshed. Once given a small taste, they would stick around for the rest of the video, always hoping to be blessed with more gore. Second, to subtly reinforce the omnipresent danger, to remind the public why the needed NERV, what would happen to them if their saviors were ever to lose resources or funding.

Shots of soldiers, commanders, men and women clearly dressed in NERV uniforms. Proof that no member of the organization was ever sitting still, always focused on the next task, always prepared for the next danger. As the saying went, "ladies love a man in uniform." It turned out this concept applied to both genders.

A select few shots of the EVA units, the pride and joy of NERV. The towering machines, the robotic saviors of the world. Sprinkle a few stills of them here and there, dealing the final blow, standing victorious against the sunrise, always marching forward, the hopes of mankind resting on their shoulders.

For every image of actual EVA-Angel combat that was entered into the videos, however, there were thousands that were left in the cutting room. The people wanted to watch their guardians to stand proud and tall, surmounting impossible odds. They did not want to see their mechanical heroes being decapitated, losing all hints of sanity and slipping into a bloodthirsty rage, being ripped to shreds by their foes.

So, NERV gave the public what they wanted. Stills and clips of men and women hard at work, scenes of victory and hope, images proudly displaying mankind's ever present strength and resolve. If the videos were to be believed, then NERV would undoubtedly emerge victorious.

Humans. So much potential, so easy to manipulate.

Sighing, David reached forward, gently closing the laptop before him, strains of patriotic music suddenly cutting out. Yes, this video would do. Plenty of clips to inspire, none that would induce undue fear or panic. Panic was the enemy, in some ways more so then the Angels. That was the entire purpose of NERV's PR branch, to ensure that the citizens were kept calm and "well-informed." An unseemly task, one that involved countless lies of omission and staggering amounts of misdirection. Nonetheless, it needed to be done.

Just... not right now. It'd been at least thirty hours since David had left his office; exhaustion, hunger, and dehydration were finally catching up to him. Stretching tired limbs, he slowly walked out of his office, wincing as blood flowed through his body. Muttering a few words to his secretary, David quietly slipped out of the building, holding up a hand to shade his eyes from the New Masau sun. First some food, then a few hours of sleep.

David muses about the content included in the NERV PR videos, then decides to go take care of his bodily needs.

"Already 13 is showing higher performance. We could use this to our advantage."

"The fuck? You couldn't get rid of jealousy in the manufactured pilots?"

"Not in females. Too many millions of years of evolution are working against us. And Evas won't synch with someone without emotion."

"I don't like it. We'll have to accept the pilots aren't as much under our control as we think."

"Is there a conspiracy? Is someone else controlling them?"

"We have been able to detect no contact between these children and any agent or... hostile being that might be directing them."

"That is not to say that someone might not have invented some method you can't detect."

"No, it's them alone. Perhaps it's for the best- you wouldn't want us to deliver damaged merchandise."

"I am not a happy man, Mcguire. Humanity does not ask us to be happy. It merely asks us to be brilliant on it's behalf. Survival first, then happiness as we can manage it. So, I hope you do not bore me with complaints that they do not have lives of their own. Learning is first, winning is everything because without it there is nothing. When you can give me back my dead son, then you can complain to me."

"Their enjoyment is more beneficial than it seems. Having lives of their own, indulging in their own pleasures helps the subject to define themselves. It's a buffer against the degradation of their Ego Barrier."

"Then fine. But don't lose sight. A pilot has to be a weapon. Like a gun, functioning perfectly but not knowing what it's aimed at. We aim them. We're responsible. We're the masters and they are our pawns. And they can't get out of that."

"They're not trying to get out of anything."

"But they will, because we are going to grind them down to dust, if we can. I'm going to train them to the brink, and I will have no mercy, because when you face the Angels they will think of things I can't imagine, they will do things that are physically impossible. How do we even visualize an enemy like that, let alone combat it?"

"There's greatness in them. A magnitude of spirit. And what's there to complain about? Your Eva probably loves you long time. It moves like a gymnast and projects the boundaries of it's ego like a wall. The world will only be fucked if they blatantly fuck up."

"Watch them closer, and don't let them jerk you around."

"See the stars on my shoulder there, son? I'm a major general. I take my orders from the chain of command, and that ain't you."

"Go see what those stars do. Because after you've stared down the likes of Israfel and Sandalphon, you don't quiver just because some guy has stars on his shoulder."

Owen brought his head up in shock at the sudden burst of sound around him, he turned his head from the screen and saw the pilot of Unit-27, a look of dejection on his face, and Fifteen laughing on the floor. This needed to either stop or move to another room quickly. He was not willing to let years of planning fall face first into the ground when he was so close to his goal. And certainly not fall at the hands of some teenage Romeo.

He closed the computer top quickly, hoping that the child had missed catching any of the information upon it, and focused all his attention on the Pilot. "Ah, Mr. Rev. I'm glad to see you are well. I was quite worried that the two angels had caused you to over-exert yourself."

Owen turned to Fifteen. Now for the difficult part. "Thank you for the... information. I will examine it and let you know of my... decision as soon as possible. In the mean time, please return to the infirmary, you don't look well."

Returning to the pilot, Owen beckoned him in. "Please Rev, what brings you to my...", his words faltering as he remembered the state of the room, "er... office?"

Owen closes his computer (a little to hastily), dismisses Fifteen and welcomes the unexpected visitor, Rev, into the room.

"Alright..." Addison got up and stretched her limbs for a bit. The only downside to her physique is that it needed constant movement or else she would start to get sore all over, as if her muscles would shrink unless she constantly moved them.

After a bit of stretching she went up to the window. Addison eyed the drop and surprisingly it was only a few stories down to an awning that sloped downwards. It looked secure but it was so smooth that it could easily be mistaken for something more fragile. Addison decided to use that to her advantage. She turned back to Pollux.

"Do what I do." Addison said. She vaulted outside, keeping a hand on the edge. She lowered herself calmly to the story below. Addison hugged the hospital's exterior as she shimmied to a storm drain running parallel to the awning below. She climbed down the pipe like a monkey and pushed herself outwards towards the sloped surface. The aluminum roof caved a bit as she slid down but she didn't fall through. Finally she rolled as she met the concrete. She had only a few scratches but nothing too major.

She waved for Pollux to come down then proceed to watch out for any staff that could be coming their way.

Lisa strolled down the halls of NERV headquarters, fresh out of her plugsuit and into some comfortable, baggy clothes. She had already introduced herself to the operations director, a man who seemed a bit frazzled, beyond what one would expect from someone who held the fate of nearly half a continent in his hands.

Unit 13 was safely in the hanger of the base, taking the spot of the green, gorillaesque unit, which she understood to be Unit 02, which was at the moment being repaired after the last Angel battle.

The girl wished to meet some of her allies, as she was to be piloting with them. Based on the little that she had heard about these other pilots, there was only one other Neo-Spartan, one she had never heard of before. This was slightly irksome; Lisa had never actually had to befriend anyone who wasn't a Neo-Spartan before.

She was broken out of thought in the monotonous metal hallway by the sounds of three voices. Curious, she set out for the source of them where she came across an attractive, dark haired girl coated with injuries, along with a younger male pilot and one of the only adults she had seen so far. She stood quietly behind them, listening in and waiting to be noticed before introducing herself.

Lisa comes across 15, Rev and Owen.

After quickly getting into his clothes, Alexander mulled over all that Addison had done. Her movements were relatively precise and steady. She shimmied towards a storm drain, climbed down the drain, and pushed herself onto an aluminum canopy. Her landing was a bit shaky but overall she came out relatively unscathed.

"Hmm, so that's how she gets around. Explains a bit. Alright, I can do this, no problem."

Alexander was a pretty big guy, built quite nicely. However, he wasn't exactly the most graceful, and after leaving The Tops, he hadn't really bothered working out, so he wasn't in the best shape he could be in. These thoughts lingered in his head, but he quickly pushed them away, he didn't have time to hesitate. He leaped over the ledge a bit too fast, but managed to grab it. He lowered himself onto a lower level, and shimmied towards the pipe. He attempted to crawl down the pipe, but slid down it, slightly hurting his fingers. He quickly pushed off the pipe and landed on the Aluminum canopy, which managed to hold his weight.

For about 5 seconds before it collapsed under his weight and he was sent falling he. Samuel quickly drifted towards Alexander.

"Don't worry Pollux, I gotcha!"

Alexander passed through his arms.

"...Oh yeah, that's right."

He fell into an open dumpster below him, as Addison ran over to check on him. He landed mostly in a pile of trash bags, with only a few of them slightly bursting. He noticed to his left were a few discarded syringes pointing up through a bag, only a few inches away from where he'd landed.

"Well, that was cutting it close."

Addison helped Alexander out of the dumpster. He dusted himself off, but noticed a few scratches on her. She said she was fine, nothing major. Alexander thought about it for a bit but decided there was no reason to look into it.

"Alrighty then, where to go, where to go...well, I know you said you're kinda sick of scientists today, but is it okay if we stop by HQ quickly? I kinda want to pick up my moped. After that, we can go anywhere you want, forget about all this for a bit. I doubt there are many that people working, and honestly, I don't think they really give a crap about us unless there's an angel running around. What do you think?"

Alexander sneaks out of the hospital and asks if they can stop at HQ for a bit.

Mikhael looked in a mixture of surprise and confusion at all of the input coming in at once. He barely registered Owen's comment, transfixed on the girl below him. Why wasn't she taking his hand? He supposed he had been pretty stupid a moment ago, but it was all in good fun. She knew that, right?

Before he could ask her any of these things, the newcomer appeared. He saw her standing in the doorway. Not particularly painful to look at, herself, but he was more concerned with just how she had found them. He didn't think this was a particularly well-traveled part of the base. Just who else was going to pop in here?

"Oh! Um, hi." He said to the girl in the doorway. He glanced down at the injured girl on the floor, very tentatively moving his hand away, to ensure she wasn't going to grab it at the last moment. When he became sure she wouldn't, he slowly turned and walked up to her. He had a vague understanding that Owen was questioning him, but he didn't want to talk to him at the moment. Something told him that laptop slamming wasn't due to clumsiness. There was something Mikhael wasn't meant to see.

"You're that new pilot we got, right?" he asked the girl in the doorway. "Lisa, right?"

He shoved out his hand to shake hers, with a beaming grin that anyone with more than ten minutes of experience studying humans would know was forced.

"The name's Mikhael Rev. Pleased to meet you!"

Mikhael greets Lisa, and wonders what Owen is hiding.

"I don't mind." Addison said. "Let's go." She calculated that it would take half an hour to get there but quite shorter if Addison could get Pollux to freerun but after that display her faith in his athletic skills drooped.

"We're better off running there. We'll get there faster." Addison broke into a jog leading the way to the HQ. The streets were relatively empty with the few residents going about their day. Addison didn't want to run in there as to not lose Pollux or tire him out for that matter. Soon the jog turned into a race as she found out that Pollux caught up with her. Her sense of friendly competition kicked in and she started to book for it. She contained a laugh as she did so.

They reached the HQ in record time. Addison let Pollux win the race.

"You good?" Addison asked him as they entered the buildings. She caught her breath fairly quickly, she wondered if Pollux did as well.

"What's yours. Yo-uurrrrs. Mikhae-ul."
It is an amazing sensation, making sounds with your mouth. Actual words formed by vibrating your throat and positioning your tongue, playing with the sounds. Addison-15 seemed to think her mouth was some kind of toy. It was pleasure, it was play. It made her smile. The others near her were smiling at the moment, too. The girl was not wearing a layer of clothing that hung in folds, not like the plugsuit. The concept of clothing still puzzled her. They'd gotten her to clothe herself without struggling, but she still didn't know why.
"Addison".

Alexander stood there for a few more seconds, catching his breath, before his breathing returned to normal. It wasn't that difficult of a run, especially if you're used to running back and forth an entire island. Looks like he still had it. It had been a fun race too, the both of them laughing as they ran, but had she slowed down near the end? He tried not to think about it.

"Yeah, I'm good. Maybe I'll try that freerunning stuff again. Just with a few more precautions. Now, where is it."

Alexander began looking in the spot where he typically parked his moped. He figured they wouldn't have moved it, what would be the point? After a few looks, he realized it wasn't there. He noticed a guy leaving the base, bloodshot eyes liked he'd been looking at a monitor for a few hours. Alexander asked the man if he knew where his moped might be, but he simply ignored Addison and Alexander, muttering something to himself. After that, they moved a bit further into the base, checking a few garages, asking personnel, the eva hanger, even walking into labs and offices. No one knew where it was.

"Oh you have got to be kidding me. Where the hell could it be?"

As they walked, Addison began to get slightly nervous. Though he could tell she was trying to stifle it, it was pretty visible to Alexander. She had said that one of her siblings may be in the HQ right now, but she'd also said that she didn't like most of her family. Though, he couldn't see why it would really bother her that much.

Alexander figured it couldn't have been stolen. Who the hell would've thought stealing from the equivalent of a military base would be a good idea? And why the hell would anyone here need a moped? After a few turns down a dozen or so vaguely familiar hallway, Alexander and Addison walked in on the strangest scene.

Mr. Laurence looked nervous and jittery as all hell, as he awkwardly held a laptop while there was a girl covered in bandages on the floor who looked shockingly familiar and apparently said something surprising because Rev, though trying to shake the hand of another random girl as he forced a smile, simply stared at the bandaged girl with utter confusion.

"Um, uh...hope we're not interrupting anything. So, have any of you seen a moped?"

They then turned and stared at him. And then they all turned to Addison.

Pollux was half correct in his observation. Not all eyes were turned to him. Mikhael, even with his hand extended to Lily, had his eyes transfixed on the bandaged girl. His expression both confusion and realization.

She hadn't spoke... because she couldn't. A thousand thoughts, all philosophically inclined passed through his mind. What kind of girl didn't know how to speak? Was NERV responsible? Just who was she?

To be perfectly honest, he hadn't even noticed the two newcomers. All he could perceive was this girl, as his old nature resurfaced and pondered.

Mikhael wonders about the nature of 15.

"You didn't know? You're guards for Christ's sake, you're supposed to know!"

Johnson listened to the doctor chew him out, stiff as a board, just bracing himself for flying spittle and waiting for the doc's rant to come to an end. Lucas Johnson was one of the 5 guards assigned to guarding Alexander's room, and one of the oldest, 56. He hadn't seen the point of guards, it's not like Alexander could just get up and leave the MRI floor and not many people knew he was an eva pilot. Hell, the only reason Johnson knew was because he'd caught a minor glimpse of the kid running towards the eva bay and a few minutes later a blue and white eva rocketing out of the base.

"Listen, it's not like the kid could've gotten far. And besides, he seemed pretty fine to me."

"I don't care if he was fucking dancing upside down! You and your band of incompetent grunts should've been watching him!"

Johnson had been watching Alexander, the 4 other younger guards were either nodding off where they stood, or checking their little electronic doo-dads. Johnson had chosen to stop paying attention to Alexander when his lady friend suddenly came through a window. Johnson had noticed Addison before Alexander had, and was gonna alert the others, but when it became evident that Alexander knew the girl, he decided to give him some alone time. Johnson couldn't hear what was going on in the room, but decided it didn't really matter. Kids, right?

"Look, look, I don't see what the big deal is. If he has the brains and the brawns to get out this hospital room, I think he's just fine."

"Are you a doctor? No! Have you trained with the mentally unstable? Aside from your own idiotic men, probably not. I don't care what your opinion is, that boy is sick! He may not show signs of it, but this latest test sure does. All his test do! At first we thought we wrong, that something was simply malfunctioning with the machine, but there's no denying it."

The doctor handed Johnson an images of Alexander's brain.

"Doc, what am I looking at?"

"Honestly, we don't know. It doesn't appear to be having any true effects on him now, as far as we can tell until we sit him in front of a psychiatrist. This thing is extremely similar to a mental disease I hear you know quite well."

And at that very moment, Johnson realized he may have made a horrible mistake.

A minor look into why Alexander was hospitalized so long

Owen's day was not getting any better. First He had been interrupted with the worst form of information, then he risked exposure, and now he had most of the pilots in his temporary office, two of whom he knew should be recovering from their injuries (physical in the case of Fifteen and mental in the case of Pollux), and two of whom he was half expecting to tear each other to pieces on principle - the winner of the conflict being obvious.

Even the newest pilot, was being drawn into the danger. He needed to defuse this atom bomb of a situation - he already had two pilots effectively out of commission for the foreseeable future, heaven forbid another three went out. What more, the entire bomb would be tragic as Owen owed his life to each and every person in the room. There had to be a way to amicable disarm the situation and before Thirteen and Fifteen killed their counterpart.

[i/] Why am I so bad at this? [/i]. He hazarded a glance at the now closed computer on his desk. [i/] Oh yeah, that's why. [/i]

"Addison, Pollux and... Leonidas correct?" a small glance at the sound of her name confirmed his memory "Welcome to my humble, and hopefully temporary, abode. I was unaware that there was to be a party in my [b/][i/] luxurious [/i] [/b]", his eyes rolling as he spoke the last word, "new office." He continued his line of thought "I'm honestly surprised to see everyone here, especially you Mr. Pollux. I was under the impression that the medical teams had you quarantined given your... condition" his words chosen less out of caution and more from lack of knowledge of Pollux's recent escape.

As he spoke, He stood and strode to Fifteen to help her to her feet and perhaps prevent Thirteen from catching a glimpse of her... a vain hope, but hope none the less.

"I don't know what brings so many of you here, but whatever it is I would be more than happy to help. I certainly owe you all that much, and more, given how you...disentangled me from that rather embarrassing terrorist situation. Especially you Ms. Thir..." he stumbled over his words, recalling her proper name, "Addison. I'm glad someone other than Sandor understood my little biblical code." he advanced with a small chuckle.

"Oh, and Mr. Pollux, I believe your bike was moved to long-term storage... the order was around here somewhere" he finished while scratching the back of his head and looking at the piles of paperwork around the office.

As Owen did this, his only real hope was that his little distraction would delay the inevitable fight between the sisters long enough for one escape. He figured his little ploy would be a bit transparent, but it was better than to watch the potential tragedy take place before his eyes.

He glanced at his laptop, now lonely and forgotten on it's desk [i/] I'll deal with [b/]you[/b] soon enough. [/i]

Owen realizes the potentially disastrous consequences of the impromptu meeting in his office and tries to cut the tension all while desperately trying to hide his preoccupation with the information on his laptop.

15 sensed stress in the doctor. She grabbed her IV pole and held it up like a spear. And then. . . everything slowed.
15 stopped moving. There were no sounds. There were no smells, because the air itself had stopped moving. No one was moving. No one was breathing. The steam rising from the mugs of coffee was frozen in midair. Everything seemed to blur and distort into a blue-green sort of light. It didn't come from any one place, though. It just seemed to be coming from everywhere at once.

But the pilots could move. And in stillness another thing was moving. Nikolai.

Piggy had been dreaming that Angels were vivisecting him. Only instead of cutting open his body, they were cutting up his memories and displaying them like holographs and trying to make sense of them. Now he was dreaming of the other pilots. They "saw" the inside of the Nerv office, like memories.

What's going on?
The hallucination had no words to give back; but when he closed his eyes and tried to remember, instead of memory came new images. And a name.

OHOTORAEL

Psychological Contamination: what the doctors were searching for. They've come to know us, Piggy thought. Even as we spent our days destroying them; We are the only ones they know, and so they can only talk to us, and through us. Piggy was shaking so badly he looked like he might fall down. He yelled out to the others.

[hr]

By now the alarm had sounded of missing patients, off their monitoring equipment. Pollux's A.T. Field fluctuated, sending out waves. Owen watched Alexander and the other pilots convulse and grow silent.

Detatched from the hospital monitoring equipment, Alexander collapses into a hallucination. His connection through the Evangelions drags other pilots into it.

Dr. Laurence was acting extremely nervous, Rev and a miss Leonidas, as Owen had called her, were still standing around awkwardly, in mid handshake while Owen repositioned the girl in the bandages. Alexander honestly didn't want to deal with all this today. It wouldn't be long before the hospital came looking for him, and if they asked NERV, they'd automatically have guards come down and round him up.

"Alright, thanks. I'll be go-" Alexander was almost out the door when he caught a glimpse of the girl from a certain angle and it suddenly hit him. "Hey, wait a second, you look a lot like-oh, you must be Addison's sister."

The two turn to look at each other, and Dr. Laurence's face contorts into the most terrified look Alexander had ever seen. Addison took a fighting stance as her sister held up her IV pole like a spear. Rev and Leonidas jump back as Addsion's sister begins to slightly charge and then everything just began to stop. It wasn't immediate, but the world around him was getting slower and slower. He could feel himself slowing down along with them till he was unable to move. And that's when Castor rose from beneath Alexander's feet.

"Well, well, well, it took some time, Pollux, but it appears there's finally been some progress made. First layer breached."

And then the pilots fall to the floor.

The strange fallout from Alexander's point of view.
