ever been so lucky (or I suppose good) that you've been accused of cheating online

I was playing Mario Kart D.S. at school with a bunch of other students, we had seven people total, but not everyone had the game, three of 'em were downloading.

So there I was, unstoppable. I kept winning first in every race. At one point, two students stopped trying to race and instead were running the course backwards, getting the best items in the game and trying to hit me with them when they passed by me.

Even with that new tactic, I was still winning every race. I had accumulated so many points that they thought I was using some kind of cheat code that gives me double points.

I told them no such code exists on Mario Kart, and when I denied their claims, they all started arguing. Then a teacher complained that they were being too loud and kicked everyone out of the room but me because I was silent.

A long time ago, just after Burning Crusade was released, I was playing a very strictly-built Rogue in WoW (designed specifically for PvP Battlegrounds use). I had just gone through the Portal for the first time and I was spam-invited to duel just after touching down in the first outpost. All of my cooldowns were fresh, so I finally gave in to the annoying Warrior.

Fight #1: He spent more time standing dazed or getting spun about randomly than not (Sap and Distract were my favorite skills...) until I finally bled him out with stacked DoTs while he limped around, trying to find me.

He kept spamming more challenges while complaining in /tell about my restealthing while he was sapped... all the while I was letting my cooldowns refresh as I did some searching around for quest givers and venders and the like.

Fight #2: Over very quickly with three consecutive Ambush/Backstabs in relatively quick succession. (I said this was my Battlegrounds character... Vanish and Preparation were my second favorite skills.)

So, again I'm letting my cooldowns refresh while he starts ALL-CAPS complaining about my cheating ("NO ROUGE* CAN DISSAPPEAR 3 TIMES IN 1 FIGHT") and how he's going to report me to the Admins... So, I accept again, before I'm fully prepped.

Fight #3: Stealth and Sap him right off... and reappear about 40yds in front of him holding a big *ss Goblin Rocket Launcher. *BOOM* Knocked him to just a hair's breadth from dying, so one quick Gouge/Backstab before the stun wore off.

I was logging off while his tirade continued...

*his spelling, not mine

Quite often. And this isn't me bragging, it's me complaining because it gets damned annoying. Especially when it leads to me being kicked or banned from a server.

Whether it be in Left 4 Dead, Counter-Strike: Source, Bad Company 2, Quake 3, Starcraft 2, Halo, or any other online game I play decently at, it gets really old really fast being accused of hacking or cheating. Especially when I see absolutely blatant hackers roam free with nary a finger pointed towards them. (and these blatant hackers are usually really bad, even with the hacks, cheats, or exploits)

And, I'm not even that good. I've played in pro-level scrims and tourneys. I often fair well in them too. But I'm no where near as good at those games as the people that devote a scary amount of time and practice perfecting their play. Maybe that's why I get accused of hacking. I play better than the average player, but I don't have a thousand plus hours logged in the game(s).

I suppose it could also be that 90% of online gamers are juvenile, whiney pricks with VERY fragile egos.

Yeah, I'm gonna go with the latter.

The first time I played a PC game (FEAR) online I was accused of it, I think the people I was playing with were just bad though.

Right...
I decided to play CoD 4 again, so I join a server, pick the standard mp5 class, seeing as I'm lvl 1, and simply run around on the map killing, out of ammo, pick up weapon, rinse and repeat... I guess I had a 90killstreak when I was kicked for hacking. Can't really blame them, I was lvl 1 after all.

CS back in the days before CZ. I played de_dust, heard a dude behind me, instant turned head shot.
Apparently you aren't allowed to listen for people.

Black Ops on Ps3 with a mouse... I guess that kinda is cheating...
I ran around rapid firing with a FAL, my performance really goes up when I get rid of the controllers.
I never had the time to get used to them. *sigh*

BFBC2 Vietnam, for sitting in a bush with a ppsh sniping snipers xD
Seriously, that shit was hard!

Yes, a few times. One that i remember was on Wet Work on CoD4, i used a mp5 with acog, and got like 20 kills, then they accused me of wallhacking and banned me.

Also, once on Jungel on Black Ops, i killd a guy through a wall, because i could see him hiding in the radar, and was once again accused of wallhacking.

Yes, I've been accused of cheating a lot in css. People jump pretty quickly to the conclusion that you're cheating, when you're just playing really well at the moment. It seems that some just can't admit that you might be good. I always take it as a compliment, when someone says my aim is as good as that of someone who uses an aimbot. Of course that's the only nice thing they say in online games. Other things are, if you're worse that someone else you're a noob, if you're better you don't have a life. Isn't it a charming place to be?

Yep, Counter Strike 2D, which is not a big deal and TF2 but I wasn't really accused to be cheater but I was hated so much that I feared that I would be kicked simply because no engineer could build anything when I played with Demo, and it weren't kids who I was playing against so I am rather proud to be hated this way.

CS Source multiple times cause im a bit of a crack shot with a Scout sniper rifle.

once on COD4 cause i was on 37 kills and 0 deaths

And finally on league of legends Multiple times cause I review myself as very good with underrated champs e.g. Malphite i got 19/0/9 one time. How the hell do you hack on LOL anyway is beyond me.

Many many many times... But then again.. Who havent?

An example? Got kicked from a server in BC2 for hitting a sniper 500+ yards away, behind a hill with a CG.. And he was admin.

What he diden't know was, that I stuck him with a tracer a few moments before.

I've never been accused of cheating, but there are few players of CoD who have avoided me for ''Unsporting Conduct''.
Apparently being good at a game is ''unsporting''.

I do also have a few avoids for ''Trash Talk'' and those players are fully justified for doing so. :>

I get it all the time in WoW. Only, I'm being called a hacker, not a cheater. Basically, I have this item from an unfinished quest which makes a circular wave brush down along my body and smash to the sides. There's also a glimpse of bubbles and a rainbow involved. It's useless, but great for gaining attention when waiting for the rest of the raid.

Can't remember being accused of cheating though, not since Counter Strike. I'm just bad at games I guess.

I got banned from my favourite TFC server many years ago. I was playing sniper, and aside from the fact that I was leading the team in kills (not unusual for me back then), I headshotted the same grenade jumping spy mid jump as he tried to get to the final point on dustbowl (I was on the defending team). I found it kind of funny considering he used the same disguise every time, and there was no reason for a friendly demoman to be grenade jumping with a hand grenade towards our spawn. And the fact that he was coming straight at me through the air each time made it a pretty simple shot to be honest. Not that it mattered to the admin. Clearly it wasn't a case of a stupid spy being stupid.

Luckily I find people aren't nearly as stupid on the TF2 servers I frequent these days.

On the Battlefield Free2Play beta I was accused of cheating because I was getting over 10,000 points in the tank which was way overpowered.

This happens every time I duel someone in Champions Online. I have a Silver (free) account, so I'm vastly underpowered compared to the Gold account characters. People will often see this and challenge me to a duel, not realizing I'm using the only free class that can heal effectively. I can't deal nearly enough damage to kill them, but they'll never beat me unless they stun/lock me so I can't act at all.

Last time this happened, my opponent took the time out to say things like "stop hacking and DIE!"
In response, I started typing this one line at a time:

"I am immortal"
"I have inside me blood of kings"
"I have no rival"
"No man can meet my equal"
needles to say, he got pretty angry when everyone who had ever watched Highlander started cracking up. He fled the battle shortly after and tried to report me to a GM for cheating. It didn't work.

Playing Lux in a match of League of Legends, I had been watching the enemy team's jungle character gank and guessed when he was going to blue buff. Ended up killing him with finales from my lane without even being sure he was there.
