Ever have the urge to play your old consoles?

I love playing the 2 Zelda games and the first Super Smash Bros on my N64.

I'm still playing through the original half life, and not too long ago I busted out the ol' snes for Donkey Kong Country 2, definitely in my top 10 games of all time. So yes, I do play my old consoles.

Actually since my old 60gb PS3 died over Xmas and I got a new 120gb one I've not been able to play my old ps2 games so I got my old ps2 out today to play Silent Hill 2, what a game!

i want to play R&C 3 but some (inset the worst word you know here) stole my ps2 (along with my school bag for some reason(that was actually quite fun coming to school saying "no i didn't write that essay 'cos someone stole my bag")

Honestly? No, not really.

I was never a big gamer when I owned a PS2 (not until the end of it's lifespan anyway) and as a result I simply bought games based off the boxes - a strategy than ended up netting me a few gems (Jak and Daxter, Fable : TLC) and a large amount of crap (Golden Eye : Rouge agent).

As a result I don't really feel the need to play any of my old games - any I did care about, such as sports games, have newer versions I can play on the 360 - and as for any retro games I missed; well there's live arcade.

I got my SNES set up at the moment, but I switch it with my NES and N64 on a regular basis. I even dug out my old Game Boy and started playing The Legend of Zelda : Links Awakening. That makes for the fun times.

sometimes i want to but cant because my PS2 broke down and my sega mega drive and playstation are lost somewhere

i still play some of the playstation games on my PS3 so its not all bad

and i sometimes emulate my GBC games but i have to download the roms because i cant be bothered figuring out how to get them from the card to the HDD on my pc

Infact, i was playing my PS2 nearly all weekend (NFS Most wanted ftw) and i play my PS1 occasionally still (good old Crash Team Racing) but i dont have a memory card for PS1, so i cant save

All the time, hell just this morning I got the urge to play Zelda: The Windwaker. Turns out I had lent it to a friend so I couldn't play it.
