I saw Jimmy Carr in Scotland but didn't stop to talk, because I though he'd pick on me X3
Missed oppertunity, he's a lovely man.

Uh...apart from Jimmy Carr, I've met DragonForce...that's it.
Aww... I didn't want to stop him because I didn't think he'd like to be disturbed. He just has his headphones in and was walking down the street, I think he didn't want to be pestered.

In my dreams me and Hugh Hefner were awesome friends and owned Playboy together.

As for in the waking world, I have yet to meet someone famous.

I've met the author Chris Priestly twice (He was quite pleased I didn't sell the book he signed the fist time on eBay)
I've also seen Jimmy Saville outside a cottage in Glencoe in bright red underpants.
(My dad jokingly said, from behind the weel of the campervan, that the Lesser Spotted Jimmy Saville had come out of hibernation. When we got closer, he gave a scream of utter joy as he realised it was Jimmy Saville in the flesh - and underpants)

Fair enough. He always stays behind after gigs to sign stuff, so that's how I caught him.

I met Alton Brown at a book signing. Really cool guy, and exactly the same as he acts on the TV shows. Full of useful info and weird pop culture puns. Still, it was awesome.

Nichelle Nichols: Very nice and sweet old lady
George Takei: Awesome, fun-loving guy, but has a serious side on stuff he cares about
Malcolm McDowell: Nice, but kind of introverted
Ethan Phillips and Robert Picardo: I swear they're the new Abbot and Costello
Jason Momoa: Neat, outgoing guy
Rachel Luttrell: Funny, happy, shorter than I expected
Christopher Heyerdahl: Loves any attention he can get
Clifton Collins: Laid-back, easy-going guy; not fazed by much
Vanessa Angel: Happy, out-going
Kevin Sorbo: Freaking hilarious, and a riot to be around
Edward James Olmos: Cool old guy, but he's not sure which roles he wants to play up more
Katee Sackoff: Didn't have much interaction with her, but still seems quite nice
Catherine Hicks: Overwhelmed with the love from the Sci-Fi community; very, absolutely nice and wonderful
Dominic Keating: Funny, alright singer, shorter than I expected
Torri Higginson: Out-going and happy

Plus, I've met many sci-fi authors, and most of them are pretty cool. It'd be hard to list them all, but get Peter David, Michael Jan Friedman, and Keith R. A. DeCandido into a room together and expect the unexpected, because they will have you laughing your butt off.

I've met Blaire from The Facts of Life at a Marie Callenders, she was friendly. I've also met Ivan Moody from Five Finger Death Punch, he's cool. I've met all the members of Attack Attack, and they are all nice guys. I also met the singer of In Fear and Faith, he was awesome.

No kiddin I was at a convention and got to pee next to Deforest Kelly (Bones, Dr. McCoy, Star Trek) and I exited the bathroom and saw a number of groupies, including my own sister on her knees howling in excitement and she screamed get back in there and get his autograph!!!. I asked for it, but he just patted me on the head and said maybe later.

Later, Sulu (George Takei) gave Jelly beans to kids, including me at the time. I was maybe 14 and it was around Easter 1977.

I sold some comic books to Billy Mummy (Will Robinson Lost in Space) and he was largely being nice to me. Good fella.

Harlan Ellison was an Ahole to me, but, he is still a miracle to nerds over all. I forgive him.
In fairness, he said he wouldn't answer questions, but, when you attend a covention, answer some dang questions!

I sat behind River Ta-Imean Summer Glau at a pre-screening of Serenity. She's really nice, and at least then seemed stunned that people actually wanted HER autograph, or wanted to see her. It was a cool experience.

I met Burt I. Gordon, the famous B-movie director that contributed so many movies to MST3K

And I was roomates with Avenged Sevenfold's manager when I was in LA on '06-'07, and was accidently involved in a prank one of the band members pulled on him where they called the cops and said he was suicidal. Got dragged out of bet at 5am by the LA cops while they stormed his room.

I get my hair cut at the same place as Sidney Crosby, and it just so happened he was getting a trim the same day I was. He's a pretty nice kid.

As a kid, Steve Irwin rescued a brown snake from our chicken shed, then later after he became famous, his daughter went to my school (in a much younger grade though), then a couple years later, I volunteered for a snake demonstration at Australia zoo.
You lucky bastard. :)

Meeting him was one of my goals in life *cries*

I've met Brett Favre....'s dog.

He was standing right next to me but I didn't even notice for interest in fawning over his pet.
