I don't like: Queen, Michael McIntyre, The Nolan Batman Films, Family Guy, American Dad, The Simpsons, Glee, Michael Jackson, Halo, Role Playing, Paintball...so yeah it happens all the time.

Some people get really vicious, especially about the Batman films, and Queen, good god Queen they're as bad as Jacko fans, who really, really need to calm down some.

People tease me for not having a Facebook quite a bit. Normally its just banter but a few people honestly think I am anti-social because of it.

A lot of people apparently take issue with my disdain for Toy Story 3 and Up.
You are a horrible human being.

Also, I've been insulted for not liking a fair few things. Chocolate mostly.

Also, with a lot of you and the things you don't like, I imagine your opinions will change in a few years. I, and many other, were the same. Then we grew up.

I don't like lots of things that most people like, a good example being sports. I don't think I've ever been insulted because I dislike something, though. Except of course, by my close friends.

when you live in a country where almost everyone seems to have an unhealthy love for hockey, it is bothersome to let people know that you don't give a rats ass about it. mainly because they act as if you have a mental deficiency and of coarse the classic "you don't like hockey? you are not a Canadian!" cause apparently my devotion to a sport makes me a member of a country...

I have however been insulted for not liking meat (I am a vegetarian as of late, yes), for not liking cricket, for not liking Glee and for not liking chocolate.
I'm kinda in your boat. I only eat chicken (and once in a blue moon bacon) when it comes to meat, and people give me crap for it pretty often. I don't think I could live without chocolate, though. You must have some massive will power.

I was just chewed out by many a 12 year old in the Pixar thread for saying that I thought Up was boring.
I saw that. Insanity. Got you probation too. Sorry to hear that.

OT: I once got crap for not liking the Beatles (I mentioned I didn't like them in another thread) by both my girlfriend and best friend. My best friend was more so joking, but he went on with it for a while, demanding I know the names of the artists. So uh, that got old, haha.

I find chocolate too rich for some reason. Also when it comes to those flavored milks, I choose the vanilla flavor over chocolate.

The catch phrase in my primary/elementary school was 'gay', so if you didn't like something everyone else did you were gay and I don't support a football team. Thats soccer for you Americans.

I actually hear people being made fun of for not liking Magic The Gathering, Warhammer/Warmachine tabletop wargames, or other geeky things. That said, it's all in good fun and dropped after that one comment, then sodas or snacks passed around.

On the other hand, I have had the interesting pleasure of gaming with people who kept linking things to me and taking it personal that a chick isn't nearly as interested in Real World military hardware as a guy is.
