As a guy with two consoles, I have to say that I love exclusives. To me, the best exclusives use hardware better than any multiplatform game ever could, for instance I really couldn't imagine Killzone 2 working on an Xbox 360 as, to me at least, that game is technically brilliant.

Non-exclusivity is not possible - no way in hell a Wii can handle something like MAG.

This is one of the few cases where I tolerate exclusivity; you bought a machine that's sub-par in capabilities, you can't ***** when it won't handle top-spec.
Wargamer - A Wii could easily run Soldner (Windows XP/2000 with 512MB memory, Intel Pentium IV or AMD - 1.8 GHz or equivalent, GeForce 3 (except Geforce 4 MX) with 64MB memory, DirectX® 8.1b or higher) with a bit of tweaking and it supports 128 players.

So why cant it run MAG ? Games are a measure of texture & shader models now there is no game that taxes a processor that cant be alleviated by turning of '4-D Spline reticulation of box like interactive objects within the ionosphere whos function is to render cloud fluffiness' or that crappy havoc thing that ragdolls bodies given none of these games are well programmed enough that the corpses serve a purpose or are occlusional it is needlesss crap eyecandy for idiots that have never seen someone shot or understand the laws of physics.

If your looking up at a cloud ingame and thinking wow I'm glad I bought this game or worse showing your friends a cloud in an effort to make yourself feel good about spending all this money of a gfx card your an idiot and seriously you need to walk away from your computer, meet a nice girl/boy/both and settle down in a good stable job. You may play games again after your made redundant (Such are the times we live in) :D

p.s. The only game I know that taxes a processor are the Combat Mission games on large settings & I know this because they drain my laptops batteries twice the normal rate for standard use i.e. playing SWAT 4 ;D.
Some of us actually like having modern graphics over 8-bit Sprites. If you don't, good for you, but I'd rather not have a piss-take watered down version of a game just so the inferior hardware can handle it.

Besides... FPS with a Wiimote? Hell no!

I always thought it was kinda unrealistic to get mad over exclusives. It's easy to forget this, but different gaming consoles are really, at their core, different products. Complaining that you can play MGS4 on your Playstation 3 but not on your Xbox 360 is a little like complaining that you can make a cake in your oven, but not in your toaster.

What we need is Microsoft to die in a fire ...
Unless you're an idiot, this is what we want. Sony goes, gaming as art goes with them. Microsoft goes, gaming as art gets stronger. Very simple.
Good god you're an arse.

Exclusives are usually better games than multiplatform games. One of the reasons (on consoles) being that the companies are not interesting in just showing the game out the door, but instead have a game that show of their system and makes it "worth buying" for consumers.

Multiplatform game will often also not take advantage of the systems capabilities. For example if crysis was multiplatform, it probably wouldnt have looked so good as it does now on any of the platforms.

You miss one thing. Most exclusive games are made by developers that are part of the company that makes the console. If not usually it is an attempt to help sell said console but usually it's the former. And you know why they'll never make games like that multiformat? BECAUSE THEY HATE EACH OTHER! (Please note, I am not a fanboy. I only like to see fanboys on the other end of a virtual flamethrower)
