I was sick of the whole "Fail" and "Win" sayings the moment I saw them.

Also I hate Marketing jargon. You know the bullshit you see about a game or product that makes it try to sound better than it really is.

"Today we are announcing a new game entitles "Hey Mom, I Can't Find My Socks". Using cutting edge state of the art computer enhanced limited edition animation we put you, the player, in charge of a 12 year old adventurous young boy in search of his magical and wonderful socks. State of the art controls allows the player to interact with a completely virtual environment that features fascinating objects like the kitchen stove, the pantry and Daddy's no no drawer. We will soon be releasing exclusive fully playable downloadable content that will expand the gameplay and ensure the longevity of the game and will allow us to expand on an already amazing 3 bedroom apartment. The fairly priced downloadable addition will be called "Hey Mom, I Found My Socks But Where the Fuck are my Sneakers""

Everytime you watch a video from E3 you see this type of shit.

Every day we are surrounded by things like: "It could have been worse" and "the grass is always greener on the other side". These are okay if somewhat cliched.
But sometimes we find ourselves wanting to rip peoples' lungs out with rage when they utter things like "Love conquers all" or "I'm high on life!".

Which expressions/sayings/quotes makes you feel like going on a murderous rampage?

I live in a redneck town, and at my job I have to ask people how they are doing.

I can't stand it when people say they're doing GOOD.

No, you're not doing good. You're doing WELL.

Doing good would be an action.

1. there are starving people in Africa who would love that food.
According to Cracked, saying stuff like that (and it was almost always your mother, amirite?) is one of the 6 things that are secretly making you fat.
im not fat. if i was i would fall down the stairs more often. hell if you want to try to cure starvation be my guest.

"Agree to disagree"

That pisses me off. I disagree with that. I guess that's why I post on a forum. I'm a sucker that way...

And I would think the expression would piss off most of you too, if it were said to you directly in the forums.

And "epic fail," the way it's used today.

Epic implies something that is so grand and glorious that it happens rarely, and as such fills one with the feeling that the occasion is monumental and rare - a once in a lifetime sort of occurrence. And the fact that "epic fail" is said so frequently rapes the term in my opinion.

"Life is like a box of chocolates ..."
I am so tired of hearing it

Or
"If life hands to lemons, make lemonade"

You know what I say to that? "If life hands you lemons, make Lemongrenades"

"irregardless" and,"I Know, Right?" piss me off
Is irregardless even a word?
i know, right?
actually it is, but only because it's been missused so much.
...I'm having trouble thinking of a context sentance in which "irregardless" would be used... do you have a sample sentence? I see it's a word and all...

Not to be rude, but is there any reason you had to post "like" and then move down a line? It kinda makes what your saying. If your sentence goes far enough, your words will go to the next line automaticly/

Ah not rude at all, I do it so emphasize and clarify my point
so if I had said
"like, when added to a ...."
see it seems like I'm using it the way I hate to much,

"You can't have your cake and eat it to."
What is the point of cake if you are not goiing to eat it! Please some one enlighten me.
I think my day dreaming in class solved this one. The phrase refers to the satisfaction of knowing that when you want to eat something, theres that nice cake just waiting to be eaten. This satisfaction can't be felt while also having eaten it. True Story.

"a little hard work never killed anyone" its not true, people have had heart attacks doing work and there are other work related deaths, so why do people always say that?! its annoying!
