I have, what 60 days to donate? You can be sure I'm donating before that time is up; just have to wait for my paycheck... in 2 weeks. Oy.

I'm pretty god damn poor right now but as someone who is pursuing a career in the arts I cannot imagine being told that I can't do my passion anymore. Good luck Allison!

Words cannot express how amazed I am with this community right now. My avatar may be frowning, but rest assured: I've got a huge smile on my face.

Thank you, guys. ALL of you.
Just keep doing what you guys do best and that'll be thanks enough for us! (or at least, for me) And tell Allison there's more where that came from! Seriously, if she needs any more help, just ask and watch the miracles fly. (Like they haven't already)

Know any videogame fans with a law degree? Might be able to swing probono (I did). Send a letter describing the insurance company's negligence and intransigence to the state insurance commissioner and cc the insurance company. Lessee...top notch graphic designer's career up to retirement age is probably worth several million dollars. Yeah, that might get their attention.
Well, I know a videogame character with a law degree, although I don't think that would help much.

As much as I would REALLY love to donate as much money as I'd like, I don't even have a job. I would've made my own Rockethub page just to raise $5000 in donation money.

If there's any other EC fans below 16, then thank God I'm not alone.

But anyway, Allison and Extra Credits really deserve more than its share of donations. Especially since Allison's got James and Daniel by her side. They're a truly high-profile team that really deserves more than it doesn't have--like a Wikipedia page, more fans outside The Escapist, and a better spotlight in the industry.

Sure, Yahtzee and ZP might deserve a bit more than EC, but this is the future of Allison and EC as we know it we're talking about.

...Allison's insurance is playing the "pre-existing condition" card so it might cost more than he intended.
Suddenly I have this desire to watch you take that $23,000+ and ***** slap the insurance company.

On a more serious note, I really wish I could donate right now, but all I can offer is some good vibes.

- All the best

Donated $1 since that's all I have in my account...
Though I see we've already reached the goal 123%.
I find that awesome.

I would donate but I'm skint and the target is already exceeded. Anyway, not to be a jerk but what happens to the left over money? Will we be seeing this sent to some form of charity or will it just "vanish"?

As I said I'm not being a jerk, just curious, also get well soon.

Well, i would be happy to give you something, but there's no PayPal on the list and credit cards in Poland aren't as popular as they are in US (and therefore i don't own one).

People keep asking about Paypal, if you're comfortable with it you can send directly to Allison's personal Paypal at imperialalien@Hotmail.com. That should give us a record of all the transactions meaning we'll still be able to get you all your stuff. Thanks again everyone. Thank you so much.

When I checked, we had reached something like 185% of the target but I donated anyway because I want Extra Credits to take all my money (That is to say $10).

I hope you get better soon, Allison!

$20 donated. I really enjoy the show and it's nice to be a part of what seems to be a stellar community.

America, the land of freedom to not be insured.

Get better Allison! Can't donate though, already making them debts.

FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF. Allison was told it's a "pre-existing condition" due to some shoulder issues she had while swimming in college.
Just goes from bad to worse, never mind drawing is her source of income. I hope she gets the money she needs.
I thought insurance companies weren't allowed to play the preexisting condition card anymore. Obama took care of that.

I would love to donate, but I don't have a Paypal or a credit card, nor the funds to do so. It is fantastic to see all of the donations for Alison! I wish the best of luck to her, and hope she makes a speedy recovery!

Long live american health care (I could rant all day about that). I'll donate something anyway. I'll get to that when I get back home, I'll probably give something like 250.
