So are some of the events.
I didnt find that game to be any problem at all honestly, i think there was only one event that I had a problem with, it was one where you had to glide ridiculously far and around obstacles.

1 Moment i did find frustrating however was in a game called Kingsley's Adventure, If i recall it was the 4th dungeon i just couldn't beat it for some reason.

Mirror's Edge on the hardest level tested my patience in levels previously thought unachievable.

God of War and those fucking dogs that puke more dogs that puke more dogs that...

Unreal Tournament 2003. Malcom. Fuck.

Playing Indigo Prophecy for the first time ("WHATDOIDO? WHATDOIDO? WHATDOIDO?")

The black guardian boss fight - Eternal Darkness sanity's requiem unless your playing through with ulyoth then your fine but if your playing against Chturga or Xelotath your royally boned.

Play a real game then.
As opposed to a fake game? What are you talking about?
A real multiplayer game. You know, one that takes skill, where the aforementioned headshot would count instead of the bullet-spraying reject approach.

*twitch* you guys don't raid in WoW much do ya. Can't think of many games that cap stress levels on some of those bosses. Especially when there are actual people to throw blame and distain at. Hur hur positive means go negative side duuur. I hate tards on critical bosses...anyhoo.

I suppose the Island that got trashed, (Island 4?) on Black and white... Ha, that took me quite few reloads to attend to the village that kept getting set on fire, impress the other villages, win a creature fight with an ogre, do 2 puzzles and then figure out that stupid undead village puzzle, what a mess... And all under the pressure of villagers screaming 'help me' 'Aaaagh!' and 'We're on fire!' and numerous other picky micro management problems in every friggin settlement. The Japanese village never had enough food, the norse village kept getting toasted, the Aztecs kept getting bored with me. Jeez.

when i have to find my way through an environment of infinitely respawning enemies when the only color is black (ie i can not see my character/terrain/enemies) while looking for an unknown exit

this caused me to stop playing a game...dont even remember the name of it

Ninja'd. A good amount of the levels in Jak 2 annoyed the crap out of me, i.e. escort missions, racing missions, the damn Wack-a-mole mission. However, it's still one of my favorite games of all time. Go figure.

Right at this moment my candidate is Meatboy (in indie flash game). The controls are way too sensitive for me. I mean, really. If you haven't played it yet, I'd recommend with caution. It was fun for me in the first little bit when the levels are pretty easy, but they suddenly get intensely difficult in a very short space of time.

It's not a matter of skill, I'm pretty sure, it's a matter of the game not registering the hits, which can happen with any game, especially during online play.

An FPS game where one or two body shots is equal to a headshot points toward casualisation and easier, less skilled gameplay.

Those Vehicle sections in Gears of War 2 lost their novelty really quick and soon I was anxious to start playing the actual game again.
Similar to those sections in Dead Space where you have to solve puzzles or of course do that dreaful turret asteroid section.

CoD4- I had my bead on you and my trigger down for ten seconds and you turn around and kill me in 2 seconds. I just put you in the center of the crosshairs (hipshot crosshairs) with a shotgun at facerape distance and fire and you kill me. I have my sniper crosshair on your head and fire. Why aren't you dead?

All of those sadly happen to me on a regular basis. It's why I enjoy single player games more than multiplayer.
I'm now going to break out my hula skirt and sing the Host Advantage song...

Host advantage... it ruins your game
Host advantage... where I put the blame

I shoot you for four seconds loading clips in your face
You calmly turn around while standing still in one place
I'm still emptying magazines right into your head
You pull your trigger once and suddenly I am dead

I'm running round through Crash and I'm on the third floor
I see you coming for me and I drop to the floor
I run right round the corner and I escape from you
But suddenly I'm back out on the roof carved in two

Host advantage... it ruins the game
Host advantage... where I put the blame
Host advantage... it's so goddamn lame
Host advantage... my skill it will maim

and so on...
