In my opinion the Fable series is one of the most overrated, shallow, poorly written [http://www.shamusyoung.com/twentysidedtale/?p=2105], easy and dull game series ever made. So no.
Sounds good - but then again, it only sounds good. I'll believe half of these claims when I see them (Even though they are fairly capable of being real, as they aren't nearly outlandish as, say, trees growing in real time *CoughFableCough*)
Let's face it - Molyneux hypes the shit out of his games, and in my opinion, that was what worked towards my dislike of Fable II.
Assuming he can deliver the goods, this might just be worthy of checking out.
Ugh, tell me about it. Fable is not a game that cries out for motion controlled gaming. I seriously am not going to mime a "vulgar thrust" or "fart" in my living room no matter how cool Pete Molyneux says it will be.
I'm going to say I'm intrigued. Intrigued by the so called "Touch mechanic", intrigued by playing the decision-maker in Albion (IE the King) and intrigued by the removed HUD and experience system.
The use of Natal, though? Not so much. I'm very caucious with that thing. It might be good and all, but it might also be shit.
Im trying not to be excited about it as I went into fable 2 not expecting much and enjoyed it while a lot of people seem to hate it as they got too hyped. Just don't listen to peter and everythings good.

You know the sad thing is that even though I didn't like Fable 2 that much and I really don't like Peter Molyneux, I probably will still get Fable 3 just to see if it'll actually be good.
All my opinions by the way.
I had zero expectations about Fable 2 and I ended up hating it more than any game I've played. So then I had to play the first again just to make sure I really enjoyed that one, and I did. They just went backwards in so many areas.
I will not get Fable 3, no matter what I hear about it, no matter how well-reviewed it is, it's just not going to happen.
I loved Fable for the setting and feel.
Fable 2 got rid of those but redeemed itself with a fun combat and a good story. I'm very dissapointed in the absence of a PC version.
So, I don't know what to think of Fable 3. I hope it's going to be a bit more like Fable, but i don't think it will be.
Am very excited for it. i think the touch feature sounds like a great addition. I felt quite guilty when i sacrafised that girls youth to the shadow guys, just so my chracter dident look old for rest of the game. Would be even worse if i had to drag her to them while she begs for mercy.
I don't see the draw to the games at this point. I loved the first Fable. It had a decent combat system, simple story but well put together, somewhat varied side quests, at the time original title/naming system, and nice music and atmosphere.
When the second Fable came out I was pretty excited, then I read the reviews and heard about it from plenty of people. I was told not to expect much, and that the game is pretty much Fable 1.5 Well, I was disappointed, and I really wasn't expecting much anymore, but I got the game anyways. Totally disappointment... I wouldn't even call it Fable 1.5, more like Fable revised or Fable + Shiny new graphics.
It really didn't include any new meaningful features and the combat system took a giant step back. The plot was overly simplistic, was poorly delivered, not to mention a lackluster ending, and the developers decided to reuse all of their previous plot devices (heck, you can just play Fable 1 and 2 side by side and it would look and play the same).
The idea of "choice" doesn't really work out, at all, which is very frustrating as a gamer that when you are told you have choices, and then you realize that pragmatically your choices are severely limited. You want to be a slim guy? Well too bad because the vast majority of food is meat, which apparently is evil, which will in turn make you fat. Want to be a young strapping lad? Well too bad
because ONCE AGAIN there is a pointless and arbitrary 10 year jump into the future and now you're a fat bald guy! Goes the same for getting married and having kids because they leave you AS SOON AS YOU RETURN HOME!
I just don't understand why people enjoy the game. I mean, if you do, that's cool, everyone has their differing opinions, likes, and dislikes. But to me, it feels like The Sims w/ swords, except with less choices and less control. It doesn't deliver on any meaningful fronts, doesn't do anything terribly original (well, the dog in Fable 2 was cool, but isn't cool enough to ignore everything wrong with the game), and only manages to parrot its own accomplishments back to you, except revised and somehow worse. As an action game, it fails because the gameplay is clunky, contrived, and outdated. As an RPG, it fails because there is not enough choices and the few choices offered are limited and less than skin deep. As a simulator, it fails because there is nothing to do except make money and buy houses.
So, no. I am not excited for Fable 3. I am slightly curious and will be looking forward to any releases about the game. The idea about weapons changing and morphing based upon your actions did seem pretty cool. The concept art reminded me about all the gnarly weapons you see in fantastical RPGs and some of the weapons in World of Warcraft, particularily Burning Crusade. Want a sword that lives, breaths, and has a giant dripping maw that hungers for the blood of your enemies? So do I, until I heard the developers say that if you're evil your sword will drip a little blood... wow... how original and fantastic... that totally makes me want to buy your game...
