Fable 3 - Awesome or Overhyped?

This game is out Tuesday and I'm pumped for it. I have loved the first two games and this one sounds even better. I'm really looking forward to seeing how they let you control being king and ruling the land.

Anyone else excited for this game? Or think it's just another over hyped game from Lionhead?

well anyways, what other game is like fable? i cant really judge it against anything else, so yeah, im excited! i played the hell out of Fable 1 and 2, so naturally this is an insta-buy for me

Have you seen the commercial that has been running on Television? It's freakin awesome! Based on that, amongst other things, that game will be awesome. I'm just sad that it's PC release has been delayed. Sincerely hoping it does not get the Fable II treatment.

Overhyped.Peter Molyneux often promises the world and fails to deliver. I think the Fable series is actually good but if only Peter would stop promising more than he can deliver, than people wouldn't be so disappointed.

By the way yes I will be getting Fable 3.

O.T. Games by Molyneux are always overhyped, but if you pay no attention to the hype, they're really awesome games, the only way you might get dissappointed is by getting a boss you kill by shooting him once while the previous game had an awesome boss fight.

Judging from my opinions of the first two games, it's probably overhyped. I admit I could be wrong, and in all honesty I'm still going to rent it, but overall I think it'll just be a decent game rather than the light from the heavens that they're promoting as.

Played the first Fable, thought if there was to be more of this, then Fable was a good running start.


Fable II ran into a brick wall.

Of course Fable III has me slightly excited (No more of that darn pause menu.), but then, it still sounds overhyped.

Fable: The Lost Chapters is on my top 5.

Fable 2 is one of my favorite 360 titles.

I have already 'came buckets' about Fable 3, and I'm not even in on the hype. Based on what I've seen, and the facts, it's looking to be damn solid.

I'm really hyped for this too, even though I told myself not to fall for Molyneux again. Unfortunately, I don't have a xbox360 so I have to wait until the game gets released on the pc.

I enjoyed Fable 1 to no end played the pug games for 2 till I had 1million coins (glitched )so psyched for 2 then realised the storyline had been copy and pasted over and didn't play for a few months then just played through but I'm sorry Fable you hurt me too much I cant take you again

I'm excited. I have both previous ones. I wish they wouldn't continue to simplify the battle system. I prefered the first game's easily selectable spells and range of melee attacks.
And I think the only person who has ever overhyped a Fable game would be Molyneux himself.

I don't think it's overhyped at all. Molyneux's been pretty quiet on this one, sticking to just announcing features instead of promising loads of other crap.
