I, myself am curious on something. I read somewhere that the game will reload saved game data from Fable 2. Is this true or did I misread something, because I can't find anything about it again.

Not sure. Would be good if you could.

I don't know how anyone could have enjoyed fable 2. Sure, it had its moments with interesting characters and a campaign that cost your character pretty much his entire life, but the plot itself was just a big middle finger to players. I mean, how about the random woman who gives you quests and narrates the story, but in one part miraciously cannot reach you because you're in the fog? What is this, bad cell reception?

Also, the end is a forced cliffhanger that adds frustration more than the suspense it seems it was going for. The lady takes over the tower just like that? No explanation? Also throughout the story I remember being annoyed with her.

Finally, the morality system was a farce. You mean in the very last mission I have a choice that can override the moral decisions I've been making the entire game? Guess none of that matters any more. Also, the blind good/evil is archaic; we all know life is more complicated than that. (Oh and when I got mad and decided to go on a killing spree in the game, I found you can't kill children. That not only breaks immersion and lacks and logical ground, but takes away from the whole "you can be good or evil" thing. Guess you can only be kind of evil.)

Sure the game was flawed but that doesn't make it less enjoyable to someone who likes the genre. I like to focus more on the positives of the game rather than the negatives.I always played as good btw so maybe I can't really understand your dilemma.

I like Pete, but I don't like Fable. Maybe I'll like this one. I only played first Fable and I couldn't get into it no matter how hard I tried. I guess I prefer RPG's like Morrowind, or pure hardcore RPG's like Baldur's Gate and Dragon Age.

My copy was supposed to arrive today but stupid UPS screwed up. I recently moved up to Michigan from Ohio and living out of a nice RV while our house gets sold and UPS sent it to our home back in Ohio. So now I have to wait until Friday when I head home for the weekend until I can play it, and its tearing me up. FUUUUUUUUUUUUCK!
That sucks dude. I'll be getting mine today and have already told the wife not to expect to see me for at least the rest of the week.

So far so good. Definitely an awesome game at the moment. Played for about 2 hours and it's great. Nothing funnier than running round in a chicken suit chasing chickens.

After watching the first hour of the game so far, I watched it while my girlfriend played last night, it is definitely a much more mature story to say the least. They however don't move too far away the humor present throughout the series.

I think this might be the first Fable game I try to be honest - the whole setting has a very steampunk-ish feel to it which is pretty appealing to me.

This game is out Tuesday and I'm pumped for it.
Lucky you, I have to wait until Friday.
Lucky you, I have to wait until February...

Edit: Also, as much as I like the Fable games, give that series a break and give us another Black and White, Molyneux!!!

...

Feels good to have that out of my system.

I had a choice a few weeks back. Pre-order Fallout New Vegas or Fable 3. I went with fable 3. After hearing the disaster that Fallout New Vegas was I say I'm glad I went with Fable 3. From the early reviewers I've heard nothing but good things. And John Cleese is the butler. C'mon, thats great.

I honestly believe Molyneux nailed this one. I'll know for sure tomorrow.
Fallout New Vegas isn't a disaster.

It's a great and fun game.

The only bad things about it are bugs, and Cazadores(fuck those things).

Oh, did you save the chickens?

And the Gnome guy, am I right? (I'm implying he's nuttier than a Snicker's Bar.)

Yep I saved the chickens. My first play through I'll try and be a good guy and a good king.

Though how harsh was the first real decision you have to make at the start of the game: Spoilers..

When you have to choose between killing your girlfriend or killing the ring leaders of the crowd. I sadly went with the girlfriend but it pained me.

Get on it mate. It's a great game with a funny story and great voice acting. And John Cleese is so damn good in it.

I don't really think this game CAN be overhyped. The world's learned its lessen when it comes to Molyfdnauszxxcxysx games. Play first, THEN start to maybe expect certain good things.
