I have facebook, but don't use it often. It can really be essential for certain things. I'm in college, we have a facebook group which is great for posting due dates and homework. Whenever we receive a large group project it also comes in handy. I am in the army and taking a police foundations course as we speak, the police like recruits who are tech savy and have the ability to find out information online, many times through social networking. During police interviews, they get you to open up your facebook, they then check all your conversations to make sure you are of good moral character.
To sum up my thoughts: Facebook is a great tool, just don't get caught in all the crap.

Ya... and you can't play video games,or watch videos while doing it, well you can but it would be a constant switching back and forth or losing half your attention. I enjoy skype and msn and all of that better, and at least with skype you don't even need to look at anything.Diablo2000 said:

The reason I don't use facebook you ask? Because to me it's like a dead hooker in your bed. It's completely useless, and causes too many problems.
I do not like my personal information and preferences being sold as market research unless I am both informed and compensated.

1.) i dont have very many pictures, especially ones i want to share. the one on my profile is my most current, and it was taken last year.
2.) i dont want to keep the same friends.
3.) most people on facebook play those silly games.
4.) most of the stuff i would post are not friendly to my family. who would demand i friend them.
5.) i dont have any friends anyways. whats a virtual friend tab keeper gonna do for me?

I have enough people butting into my private life, I sure as shit don't need anyone asking me about all the stupid shit they have you fill out on your profile. Plus I pay fifty dollars a month for a cell phone, you wanna talk, fucking call me.
