GAAAAARY!!!!

Gggggaaaaaarrrrrryyyyyyy.
X amount of gary + Y amount of bullets = Many spare uniforms to sell off.

I loved that vault. Also, the teddybear in the trolleycage was rather strange, when you pick it up a behemoth comes over the hill to attack you.
Where was that again???

Hmmm, well in general I don't think Fallout 3 was quite as messed up as the previous games in the "series", as many people will also tell you I'm sure. It did a lot of things right, a lot more wrong.

That said Fallout has generally included referances to cannibalism, so I figured Andale was their nod to that fact. I was kind of surprised there wasn't more to it though because typically in the original Fallout the doctor's flesh selling assistant is the guy you get your first SMG from which is a substantial weapon upgrade that makes a lot of things easier.

I also sort of felt that Andale was a homage of sorts to "Six String Samurai" where there are some cannibals who resemble a perfect 50sesque family.... along with a ton of other strangeness.

The very first time I exited the vault, I immediately went to the nearby school. I go inside, see chopped up bodies, and immediately think "what the fuck".

I observed once as my friend ran into some hunters selling "Strange Meat". After following them, he witnessed the hunters kill and scavenge another human.

My favorite is when I go to the, I think,Northwest Seneca Station, there is a ghoul selling ultra jet. Now when I pull out my shot gun and blow him and his bodyguard's head against the wall I'm given negative karma. Why? Well I started the fight with innocents I suppose, but he's selling ultra jet. I made the wasteland just a little better and free of a new drug.

So is it telling me...drugs are okay? No, but is it telling me they are bad? Not really. It's based on how I use them. Interesting concept i found

Rigging the bomb in Megaton, then letting loose the ghouls in Tenpenny, and then getting bored and deciding to rescue Jericho just before pressing the button was fairly amusing and in my opinion a strange trip through some shades of moral gray.
Plus one time I got ambushed by an Enclave dude so I mezzed him and sent him to Paradise Falls, but his programming must have got weirded out cause when I went for my money and another collar he came walking out and he 'sploded right next to me. That's what you get for messing with me.

Yes, actually. Think about it. The decision to do drugs is a personal choice that does not interfere with anyone else's life. If someone chooses to use, then it's their own choice. Had he been holding people at gunpoint, forcing them to take it, it would be wrong. Something is wrong only if it causes direct harm to another person outside of a personal choice. I.E. Your murder of his bodyguard and him. For some reason, when people hear about a druggie robbing a store or killing someone, they can't separate that from the drug use. His drug use was perfectly fine, his violence towards other was where he went wrong.

Of course, the War on (Some) Drugs has taught people not to question these things too much.

Everyone has already mentioned most of the disturbing things in Fallout3... I thought that the stagnating similarity to the supermutants and the Orcs from Lord of the Rings was pretty big. It was similar to Chernobyl as well.

Lots of things in Fallout 3 are pretty disturbing or hilarious.

One really sad thing was going into an abandoned house, searching for loot and I go to a bedroom and see two skeletons lying there, hugging each other.

I found Oasis to be pretty depressing.

Hahahahahahahhahahahahaha! That was awesome and strangely creepy, but I forgot what Vault that was.

I also remember there was a haunted vault too, but I forgot where that was, too.

I mean my gut instinct was to say in the springville school you see a huge metal cage, and a bunch of children's skeletons in there. I found that quite disturbing.

But I thought, what was the one moral choice that always perplexed me, and it was the ghoul drug dealer guy. Now the wasteland will never have to see ultrajet. He's not bad because he does drugs. I found him bad for what he was planning to do with them.

Germantown Police HQ - outside of it there's a terminal still running from after the war, on it are the logs of the head nurse of a disaster relief camp.

http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Germantown_Logs - for those of you who don't have Fallout 3, or just missed the terminal.

First time I read that I actually sat back and thought about what sort of world would be left after a disaster of that scale, I still read it whenever I go though there actually.

Log six is the worst one from my perspective, put yourself in her position - you have limited resources and your about to run out of the only real treatment you have for radiation. Most of the people in your care aren't even aware that once your out of Prussian Blue you no longer have any real radiation treatment, and probably still think they have a chance - you know damn well that once your out of that everybody is dead. Put yourself in that position and imagine carrying on as she dose.
