For the obligatory pony post, Fallout: Equestria needs to be real.

I know it never will be, but if you like Fallout at all, you owe it to yourself to try it. It's just that damn good.
I don't think the fans of Fallout series will appreciate the sudden need of the owners of the IP to make a cross-over with Hasbro putting ponies in it.

Now if we had of cross-over like Fallout and Wastelands, now we are talking.

I honestly think a Fallout Wasteland crossover would be redundant. They're basically slight variations on the same thing (both good), very little outside of the norm would happen.

I will admit that when I mentioned FO:E, I wasn't thinking about it from the Fallout side. Yeah, it'd be dumb if it was official for Fallout, but it isn't Fallout, it's a separate world based on Fallout. I was meaning if that was the official for MLP. It'd be against the style of the show, but it's so well written and engrossing that I just don't care.

Canon for MLP, noncanon and unrelated to Fallout.

I should have qualified my statement.

So, let me get this strait, you believe that a story that describe the death of millions ponies/pegasus/unicorns/dragons/etc, by "something" [I never read the story btw], and Equestria being now grim and dark with many different kind of survivors trying to live in this ruin world, is suitable to a Cartoon Show that is colorful and peaceful [ok, I will admit not so peaceful.......that why I love it also XD] suitable for all kind audience to watch it, either you are a child, either you are an adult.......as canon?

EDIT:
Also, as another user said, if indeed the Fallout/MLP crossover have the line "Celestia's solar flaring orgasms", I don't think so is suitable to be official for MLP.

My opinion of course.

Yeah, as canon, but not as part of the show. It never has to be touched on by the show, nor would I want it to be.

I'm saying it 'deserves' to be official in its current form because of the amount of effort it obviously took and the quality of the finished product.

Keep it a story online, but it'd be cool if Hasbro gave it a little nod.

And you should read it. If you like Fallout and you like Ponies, you'll adore this.

Hrm. Not to be a homer, but I'm really surprised no one has mentioned the Blue Rose of Illium.

http://www.escapistmagazine.com/articles/view/comics/escapist-comics/9758-Blue-Rose-of-Illium
Oh my!!!
I didn't knew Escapist site had a comic base in Mass Effect.
Update now.
If you have something to say about this comic, please tell me what do you think.
I think it's awesome. It captures the Krogan as a species, the backstory scene and Charr as an individual character about as perfectly as can be. I'm still hoping it is somehow made into actual canon for Mass Effect.

The MLP fanfic Past Sins [http://www.fimfiction.net/story/41596/Past-Sins] is a good candidate for this.

It's basically what would happen if Disney got a hold of the rights to the show, turned it a little bit darker and aimed it at slightly older kids.

Alas, it will likely never be made into a film, be it official or fan-made. I has a sad.

This [http://www.fanfiction.net/s/3486089/1/The-Man-With-No-Name] Doctor Who/Firefly crossover story. The highest rated crossover story between either series, and one of the best stories I've read on the site. The craziest part is that it's not even written by a Doctor Who fan, and yet it's so spectacular; melding both universes excellently and presenting the characters just as they are in the show.

I see now.
Another user said that fanfic also.
Well, if you think that many publishers make official crossovers here now and then [especially Capcom], I think it is safe to put this specific one in the list.

Wait, what? Why this had a book?
Doesn't the Garfield IP owned by a publisher or something?

Can't believe no one's mentioned Marauder Shields yet; Koobismo is damned talented and seems determined to give Mass Effect a proper ending:

Think it got lost in the shuffle (at the very least I didn't see its proposal acknowledged either in its favor or against it) so I'm reposting the Brotherhood of Shadow/Solomon's Revenge mod for KoTOR. As I said previously: it adds some good characters and a good bit of backstory to the game, (some unique, some implied via KoTOR and KoTOR II) while remaining thematically appropriate. Soloman's Revenge even includes unique voice acting. That said, the mods' timing is positively horrific (it's a substantial (read: 5+ hours) pair of side-quests that can only be taken during a part of the game that should be high-tension and very focused on the primary objective).

In addition, I'd also like to propose a mod for Skyrim: Dragons Diversified. I can't speak for anyone else, but dragons kinda lost their luster fairly quickly in Skyrim. It was a big deal when you killed the first of them, but all too soon you'd hear the roar and go "oh, THIS again". It certainly didn't help that there were only a handful of dragon types in the game. Cue my installation of Dragons Diversified for an new playthrough and imagine my horror when the first dragon I fought started summoning flame atronochs. The mod did wonders towards granting variety to the dragons and reestablishing their threat level, which in turn greatly helped my immersion.

On a similar note, Skyrim Redone might be worth a gander. It's primarily a mechanics mod, but it does a LOT of tweaking in that regard, changing everything from racial abilities to stat trees and even adding new spells and weapons to the mix. Exactly what changes were made can be found on the page linked above, as can the rationale for those changes.

All Star Wars books written by Timothy Zahn. I'm disappointed that Episode VII isn't going that route. The Thrawn trilogy is just awesome.
I am quite curious now.
What kind of route Timothy Zahn wrote for the Episode VII?
I saw some picture and I guess the protagonist is.......Luke Skywalker's daughter?
That's Mara Jade, former Hand of the Emperor (dark side hitman) turned smuggler turned Luke Skywalker's wife.

And I say no to Fallout Equestria. I don't care what people say about it, but lines like "Celestia's solar flaring orgasms!" just takes away any credibility or notions of good writing...
That sounds tragically bad. Like, 'Harry Potter: My Immortal' bad. Gonna need context for that.

Going to give my vote to MERP.

He's totally ok with it. Jim Davis (the writer) even went on record to say that it was better than his comics.

Oh sh*t! I didn't knew that.
So, I guess I make an Exception and I will put it in the list.

Tekkit in Minecraft for sure
First not really keen on minecraft making mods official.

Second, the name "Tekkit" should not be used since they've stolen several mods and keep them in the pack despite the mod authors disapproval.
